Lennox

Thomson Davo Bene Murray

B.Barr Callachan Berry Vaughan

Spence Buchanan

Vaughan kept on drifting inside and further up with the other 2 though and looked 4-3-3 at times.

The team that finished though was a very young team.

Rory Brian

Mackay Davo Bene Murray

Trialist Matthews Berry Thorson

Court Osei

The trialist was Connor McClaren( ex St Johnstone Winger) again.

Given thats the team that started and finished tonight, would presume that davo/bene, berry in midfield and spence/buchanan up front will be the spine of that side.

Eta. Don't know if Ive missed it completely but has cuthburt given up the playing side of things to focus on coaching?

From the highlights at looks as if we are creating chances at least, which is more than can be said for last season. Buchanan took his goal well. Go need that sort of calmness if we are to go back up. Clear penalty for them though, Pisses me off that davo races to the ref to complain about the decision, especially since it is a pen and they are hardly likely to change their minds on it. Especially scottish refs

The hip injury he picked up last season is taking longer to get better than expected.

From the highlights davo gave his man too much space then had to lunge in to attempt a block. Not having a go at him but he is 100% to blame there. Buchanan took his goal well and it was good to see Vaughan taking players on and creating chances.

I'm optimistic for next season. Even with a smaller squad I think we have more than enough quality to do the business.

Was that Thorson taking the corners after half time?  He looked pretty handy at the set piece

He only came on for Vaughan with about 10 minutes to go. Vaughan took every one up until then.

Vaughan's set pieces have improved a lot since last season. Most of his corners were dangerous and his free kick was half decent as well..

Davo won't be marking someone of Goodwillies quality every week

How much do you reckon Clyde are paying Goodwillie?

Is he just waiting at Clyde until the whole rape thing dies down or is he stuck there for ever?

I'm assuming he's hoping to do a Ched Evans.

Still only 28 and was at Plymouth 6 months ago. Probably a chance that a higher placed club than Clyde will take a chance at some stage.

He was absolutely torture in England (in League Two). Scottish Championship is probably as high as he'll go, if he can get a club to take a chance on him.

Another talented player ruined by a shit attitude and just generally being a complete c**t.

It's not just today's game. He was directly responsible for the goal on Wednesday night as well..

Well  it is good news that he has proved to the new manager what a liability he is before the proper games start.

It's actually ridiculous how much of a spiral Goodwillie's career took. When we was at Blackburn is wasn't uncommon to see him still kicking about in Stirling's clubs during the week. There was a spell where both him and Templeton were looking like they had numerous options and could really push on. Jonny Russell has been the only loanee we've had who's gone on to bigger and better things consistently.

Stenny playing Real Kashmir, Stranraer playing FC Twente and Falkirk on a tour in Hungary... what do we get? An early KO in Cumbernauld. Why does the club make no effort when it comes to pre season. The last time we played down in England must be 10 years ago now.

So what's the difference between 50/50 man berating Bobby Barr during a friendly, and posters on here giving it tight to Davo after 2 friendlies ?

Davos pish, Barr isn't.
