Dosser-fae-the-shire
I am leaning towards the Butchershop but will decide in the coming days. Porter and Rye does look quality though. Will be staying down that end of the town so that we dont end up frequenting the usual pubs etc and try some different places. We had the Porterhouse in the Butchershop. It was easily the best steak I’ve ever eaten. It was also by far the most expensive.

ShaggysBeard
Spaghetti and meatballs tonight. Basic. Meatballs from down the Lidl, brown them with diced mushroom and onion then add passata with some paprika and chilli powder or similar. The kids hate it, so I get two extra portions and an excuse to send them to bed early for not eating their tea. Perfect.
Shandon Par
Will do a sweet potato and red pepper risotto later with a wee side of feta baked with rosemary speared through it and some onion and wee tomatoes. Risotto is a tremendous excuse to crack open a bottle of wine and booze in the kitchen in peace.

That’s the one Shaggy. Also if struggling to source palm sugar, brown sugar would be a handy substitute, or possibly tablet? (Not tried That but that’s what palm sugar reminds me of..) Give it a go though, its awesome!!
