It's also fucking brilliant at keeping you feeling 'sober' when to everyone else you're a drunken gibbering mess.

It was the 3rd of September

A day Dele will remember, yes he will

As that’s the day his Thornton’s egg expires

Glad that Sly & The Family Stone kept working on those lyrics.

Better yet, that Sly & The Family Stone let The Temptations release the song.

Here is DIFFERENT PLACE (REPRISE), the ninth and penultimate track from my upcoming debut album Grey Hairs and Black Dogs, out on June 5th. This is only a short track but the most positive one on the album. It is a reprise of the earlier track called Same Shit, Different Place, but coming from a totally different perspective and reflecting on the way in which my mental health has massively improved over the past three years.

It was 3 years ago to the day that my daughter was conceived. It was a Thursday morning after the Europa league final that Man Utd best Ajax in and the Monday night a few nights before was the night of the Manchester arena attack.

My first was conceived in Venice, my second was conceived after I staggered off the train from Aberdeen drunk on the back of three weeks nightshift.

I often struggle with which one represents a more beautiful conception.

No, I just remember watching it. The initial plan was to go for a quick in and out during half time but I made an inappropriate comment just at the wrong time which prompted an argument that was resolved by some passionate love making on the Thursday morning in which I forgot to pull out.

Yeah our second conception was just a few nights at it the second week back after Christmas this year. We were pretty confident of getting pregnant straight away again so it wasn’t a massive surprise when she tested positive, phoning our parents up to tell them was far less memorable than first time round as well.

I hope you named them appropriately

"These are my children, Romantic Getaway and Drunken Shambles"

I only recognise John Barnes. Playing fast and loose with the word “celebrity” there.

Crissy looks like she’d grate like f**k on my nerves.

Hope Lady Leshurr makes plenty of crispy bacon. Crispy bacon. Crispy bacon.
