When I got out the pub I asked a flag seller if I had been seeing things. He confirmed that I had indeed seen "Brave". I then got thinking that if she was part of Steve Clarke's master plan to combat losing Grant Hanley for the game. I envisioned it being the last minute, score 1-0 and an Israeli skipping past Craig Gordon, goal at his mercy and just as he goes to break our hearts...from the dugout area...Thwang...Thud! 3 points secured. Her name is Merida, the film is Brave. Stop getting Pixar wrong.

Lol. Spike Milligan once defined the British Army thus :- "If a man dies when you hang him, keep hanging him until he gets used to it......."

Lol Back in 1662 William Christian was sentenced to be hung, drawn and quartered. His wife appealed against the sentence which was changed by the Deputy Governor who decided he should be shot. This was carried out on the 2 January 1663 and an entry in the Parish Register of Malew states that ‘he died most penitently and most curragiously, made a good end, prayed earnestly, made an excellent speech, and next day was buried in the chancel of Kirk Malew Just goes to show it's always worth appealing a death sentence.

Having never seen the film I will bow to your your better judgement. I was merely retelling what the flag seller told me, that I had indeed seen a person he called "Brave". But if you want to get all precious about it then at least give her her full name and title so we are all fully aware... Princess Merida of (the clan) DunBroch...apparently.

Much like I think I might not feel up to a last meal if I was being executed, I'm not sure I'd be up for a stand up routine while the firing squad loaded up.
