Mel Hutchwright
Joanna Newsom with 32 piece orchestra at Candleriggs in January. Thanks for that, I had no idea she was playing but thats my ticket duly booked. The beauty of it all is likely to reduce me to big manly tears.
kullibino
Might go and see The Hedrons at Tut's tomorrow if I can be arsed. If not it's looking like this: Gomez at Barras, 18 Nov Futureheads at ABC, 26 Nov Morrissey at SECC, 2 Dec Magic Numbers at Barras, 3 Dec Arab Strap at ABC, 4 Dec Bloc Party at Barras, 17 Feb I'm not happy that they don't pronounce their name 'the heid-rons'. You don't say polyheadron after all, or at least I don't.

Colin M
Thanks for that, I had no idea she was playing but thats my ticket duly booked. But I can't wait
An Sionnach
I'm not sure if it strictly qualifies as a gig, but I'd urge all that can go to do so. B)

supermac
Killers at the Carling next Wednesday. Not quite as excited by this now following their rather underwhelming sophomore album. After that the Magic Numbers whose second album, on first listen, seems rather dandy Nothing in the New Year yet. Will have to see who's touring and when..... Francesc Fabregas
I'm going to see Ben Kweller tonight at the QMU. I'd never heard any of his stuff until just now - he's pretty good.

Saw him before, he's ace. Signed his first recording deal when he was 14, think the rest of his band (Radish) may have been in their 20's though.
