Tommy Nooka
Sufjan on Nov 7thGot Sufjan tickets for Aug 30th, still the best album I've listened to this year despite some stiff competition. Got king creosote at kelvingrove on the 6th first though. Then Metric and Death Cab later on, a nice wee schedule of gigs coming up and I've waited a long time to catch some of these guys live.

Ross.
Saw Fatherson in Edinburgh on Friday night. Quality. Can't remember if it was late last year or early this year I seen them over here. Very good band. I have the local festival this weekend. Should get home from work, get changed and get up there for Flogging Molly coming on. The rest of the weekend will mostly be about getting drunk, perving, and walking between the two stages listening to people I've never heard of.

The rest of the weekend will mostly be about getting drunk, perving, and walking between the two stages listening to people I've never heard of. Weekend went largely as expected. Most of what I heard was fairly awful. Scarecrow on the Saturday night were OK, Blues Pills yesterday were excellent and put on a very good performance but I'm not sure if they'd be any good when listening to them on record.
Thundermonkey
Peter Hook and the Light in Sept at the Art School. Unsure as to how this will pan out but I've been assured they are very good.

Must have been traumatic right enough, it's taken you a while to feel comfortable talking about it.

Ross.
Just got a hospitality ticket for Die Toten Hosen in Zurich on Saturday, on account of a mate who runs a pub getting some from the brewery who are supplying the bevvy there. Never really listened to them, but my missus loves them and can only be described as "Absolutely spewing" at my recently announced weekend plans.
