Watched the Montrose magic Saturday, and a few socials straight after, not embarrassed to say that these occasions will be up there forever. Cant wait till season start and although it will be a hellava lot more difficult, looking forward to regular large home crowds with a bit of atmosphere!!! I get where you’re coming from, but many of these clubs had a bit more work to with bringing players in, where we had many already signed. Albeit with the news that we’ve got a couple of defenders sidelined so early, think we’d all like to see a couple of loans in before the real games kick off. We also have a team spirit and confidence that no one else will have. My one slight concern is that we haven’t yet strengthened the starting 11 from last season. Appreciate we competed well with championship sides last season but there’s a difference between one off matches and a 36 game season. Don’t think anyone wants wholesale changes but I do think a few pieces of quality could make a big impact to what is already a good squad. 5 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
