Obviously hope Morrison gets himself well first and foremost, but last seasons top man has a job on getting back in this team.

Agree. Had this conversation last night, hoping to see a fit Morrison back, but to drop anyone from this starting eleven on this current form wouldn’t sit right.

It's what a squad is all about. You really have to shit or get off the pot in this team, with the exception of Maciver. There's literally someone coming for everyone else in training every day

Alfie has had to be really patient, and the charge against him generally has been frustratingly inconsistent, and doesn't work back enough.

I think he has done plenty to address those both in recent weeks and make the Jersey his. Obviously hope Morrison gets himself well first and foremost, but last seasons top man has a job on getting back in this team.

Still think the big difference between Morrison and Alfie though is end product. Morrison for a wide player scores a ton of goals whilst Alfie's finishing can still be very frustrating. He's played well in the last 3 games but despite having a good few chances hasn't hit the back of the net.

Alfie said himself i think it was to the end of last season when he was interviewed that with making the jump from part time to full time and is still learning.   The mans just unpredictable and during our time in league 1 he was the main stand out player against us when he was at Kelty.  Hoping MacIvers injury isnt too bad.  If Shanley has to step up though he has a chance to redeem himself, but i think mcGlynn might just prefer Oliver to him.

I hope this is the last of injurys but saying that it may work out better over the long term get it over and done with the now rather than the tail end of the season, just rather no one was injured but it is what it is.

He won the Morton game for us

Finn Yeats is my 10, especially with Nesbitt out injured.

Has it been said anywhere what happened to MacIver? Things started going pete tong when he went off and there's not many viable options up here on loan to fill his role.

Exceptional team performance yesterday just ran out of gas.

There's a screenshot of a match report on the facebook page quoting McGlynn saying a bit of a hamstring injury hopefully not too bad.

If we were playing 4-2-3-1 rather than a flatter 4-3-3, Tait would be my 10 and Yeats sitting deeper.

Tait has experience playing there, is more creative and has plenty of energy to contribute in both attacking and defending from the 10.

I know there was a few folk refusing to go yesterday because it was the Old Firm and I completely get that sentiment, I was on the fence myself but you know what, I haven't missed a game this season simply because this team is so good to watch and want to enjoy every minute for a long as it lasts. I know we got beat but I'm still buzzing nearly 24 hours later. From the minute I went in at 2pm watching the crowd get bigger and listening to the ultras as the atmosphere just got better and better. For 70 minutes I really thought we had them but losing Mcivor and Yeats then the VAR going against us at 2-1 is ultimately what cost us, NOT their subs coming on in my opinion.I

I haven't seen all the drawing of lines pish they do with VAR but I've just watched the PS highlights on you tube and paused it as the cross leaves his boot and that looks a clear offside?

Zak Lovelace or Bobby Wales in on loan please.

Haven't really seen Lovelace, but Bobby Wales has some similar qualities to Ross MacIver. Good movement, decent pace, good touch and awareness. He isn't as selfless or good in the air, but is a more natural finisher IMO.

Idah is behind the ball.  Marginally, but still behind so can't be offside.

There is a broadcast graphic that shows the line drawn from the ball and Idahs foot which is behind.

I vowed years ago I would never set foot in Ibrox or Parkhead again. I detest them both equally and the party tunes make my skin crawl.

However I was more than a little jealous seeing our fans and the noise they were making as I settled down to watch it on the telly.

I have been telling anyone who will listen at work that this is the best Falkirk "team" I have ever seen. They are exceptional to watch. Brave on the ball and fight for each other. Was so proud watching that yesterday.

The gig was up when McIver and Yeats went off. Also when Alfie departed the scene. It was a tremendous effort and I hope Ross injury isn't too bad because he is huge for us.

Anyway well played boys you did us all proud.

Yes but also had a good few chances against stenny and couldn't take any of them. I just don't see him getting the number of goals Morrison brings to the side which is why I'd always have a fully fit Morrison starting in front of him. Great impact sub though.
