I doubt that still is the case. The stand must be well over half full of season tickets last season considering the number of half and third sold on top of the originals.
NavyBlueArmy1876
I see Airdrie, Partick, Queens Park & Raith haven't even got round to releasing their season ticket prices yet The fact we've stolen such a march on these clubs in terms of sales must surely give us some kind of advantage?

Queen's park are probably giving them away free this season with every new away kit sold.

If Motherwell put it to the 'well society I'd suspect a similar outcome. This is an issue much more complex than "grass good, astro bad", however the majority still seem to be hitting out with the "I've never seen a good game on astro" patter. I think you’re right. But it’s fundamentally a misuse of power. Just because the SPL clubs have the power to do this, it doesn’t make it right or reasonable. Would it be reasonable for example to force all clubs outside the SPL to switch to artificial based on the arguments made in favour of that surface? Absolutely not. badgertheeuro24witness
All this yet on the European thread, a St Mirren fan is longing for a tie against Tromso (plastic pitch). Seriously, lads. There has to more to a football club than suckling at the teat of the old firm/UEFA.

Can’t imagine many in the league will sell 3000+ either when they do release them.

If folks want to sit there this season they'll need a season ticket....and probably before this weekend Fair play, I miss far too many games to make a ST worthwhile so it'll be the Main Stand for us unfortunately.

Think there'll be quite a few folks in your position. Even in the main stand most of the central/higher seats are already gone too.

Shodwall cat
Buckie apart it's the same old same old again unfortunately which does make it extremely difficult to get any excitement out of this trophy. Dundee united we had last season. Wasn't that long ago we had Ayr united. Just seems to be the same sides again and again.

Dundee Utd twice last season, Ayr away in the Trust Trophy last season and I'm sure we played them twice in cup comps in the 22/23 season as well as having them 4 times in the league this coming season. Stenny away isn't exactly a game to get the juices flowing. Have to fancy our chances of going through in second place, worst case is one of the best 3rd placed teams
