The Falkirk FC Thread

We've got Stenhousemuir or Berwick Rangers away in the 4th round of the Scottish Cup, most likely on the 1st Dec. Stenny would be handy as it's more or less a home game. Berwick would be a good trip. When was the last time we played down there?

Edit: According to Statto it was a 2-0 win in the same competition in 2007.

Hi Bairns just looking to get some info on what pubs/ social clubs you went to prior to your Rammsdens final at Livingston last season.

Went in the social club at the ground this season and it was ok but will never cope with an 8k+ crowd imo.

Thanks in advance.

Queens put Sevco out a few rounds ago. You'll be doing well to get 5k.

Jagfox we took our buses to the Livingston Indoor Bowling Club which is a 5 minutes walk. Left our buses at the bowling club and just walk down the lane by the 5 aside parks. They also had catering available. We phoned and spoke a a lady called Carol. We had 3 buses in so plenty of room.Great for getting away as you are not allowed to

park in the car park.

Quick update on the poppy shirt auctions. Considering the game is still to take place and we see who has worn which jersey, some fantastic bids thus far;

#1 - £121

#8 - £75

#9 - £147

#10 - £87

All others are yet to be bid on as of yet.

Auctions close on Monday 12th November.

I don't think this is a massive deal but given our start to the season I think the players should be keeping a low profile instead of nights out to watch other clubs.

On the other hand, sampling big match atmosphere like that might inspire them to better themselves. Or am I being too idealistic there?

No issue with what they spend their spare time doing but I think tweeting about how great Celtic and their fans are could be avoided given the circumstances.

So if you had the chance to go to a big Champions League game(say the final if it was at Hampden), and it blew your mind, you wouldn't comment on it?
