Hopefully those kind of results are eradicated when teams find their level. Even in the wspl this season teams are getting beat eight and nine nothing. There was even a 14 nothing at one point.
FFC 1876
2013/14 since we last won 5 games on the bounce in the league. Joe Chalmers played in 4 out of the 5 of those games. Edited January 30 by FFC 1876
Bairn in Exile
Just an observation re: Morrison. McGlynn has been coaching him for a good few months and yet he was still quite erratic with his shooting, his decision making at time left a lot to be desired and and he just couldn't hit his man with a cross. Suddenly, in the last few weeks all these three parts of his game have come on in leaps and bounds. His early cross to Oliver on Saturday an example of his improved decision making / crossing. Is it a question of McGlynn's coaching finally getting through to him or have we brought in a specialist striking coach? As mentioned above, there is a lot of sorting out and calibrating needed in the women’s game.

Having a natural attacking full back in behind Morrison has helped him hugely imo. He now generally only has 1 player in front of him to beat rather than 2 as Rowe is usually taking a runner away with him. It was even worse last season when we were shite and he was literally our only attacking threat teams would double up on him and he would often have 3 men for company. He also had to play on the left earlier in the season when Kennedy was injured and although he did ok for me he's much more effective on the right. Which wasn't a bad result considering they arent in the same league and Celtic are beating teams in their own league by more than that to be honest.
SouthStander1876
Next 5 games are a lot trickier for Dunfermline than ourselves. Turn over the Kelty banana skin and I think we might be on to something.

Ranaldo Bairn
Colleague of mine here is a big Par and he admits they are getting very twitchy. Manager apparently happy with the squad he has. Reckons it will come down to the head to heads with ourselves which I have to agree with. We've definitely got the momentum but another fuckup in Kelty and the good feeling could easily dissipate again if they win and it goes up to 8. No prisoners. Full throttle from the off every game. We have a good bench to keep things turning over nicely up front especially.

It’s great to see him on a run but this isn’t anything new, he’s been a key performer the past few seasons so there’s nothing different to his game. It still amazes me how many fans start to realise his worth to the team. His ratio for goals and assists is up there with the best of them for us.

Really ? Given that Kelty have beaten us twice I’m totally with @Harry Kinnearon this one. Make no mistake, this is a massive game.

Springfield
A bit of reality of where we are. Points will be dropped by all the teams in the remaining games. Yes we've had five wins out of five. Yes we look like we’re playing as a unit/team. Yes Nesbit & Morrison have been far more consistent. All considered it’s a “work in progress” improvement of the previous shite we’ve endured for the last four seasons. Still a few away games we simply have to win. Maybe a bit of positive caution in light of where we’ve been, but a strong third quarter would send out a clear message to the rest. Looks like we’ve done our transfer business with players, maybe a late announcement might be the difference…….

We are stronger than we were back then and McGlynn surely won’t come away with another brain fart team selection like the first Kelty game. We will win this.

Airdrie’s been a bit of a bogey this year as well, but agree if we can beat Kelty momentum will be with us for a strong run.
