Captain_Sensible
When Rangers went into administration we weren't neck and neck. We were ahead By a mere 4 points! Limped home we lost once in 20 odd games before the title was sealed and that was to Rangers The loss to Rangers was the key game. You also lost the key games to Killie & Hearts in the cups. Throw in Europe and you lost every single key game you played last season! Disastrous? Nah mate just Champions Tainted Champions - of a 1 horse race! When other horses were able to compete you blew it each and every single time. Pointing & laughing at you!
killingfloorman
9 million for mcgregor and 5 million for davis. 3.5 mil for lafferty.....dont make me fukin laugh?! Buried in all the greetin' is the really important piece i.e that rapeepul stole these players for not much more from clubs like Hibs and Killie. TOF have been doing this for years (as all on this board know) but the Record refuses to acknowledged it somehow making out that it's a shame the orcs will 'only' be getting these reduced fees. edit for spelling Edited May 16, 2012 by killingfloorman
Captain_Sensible
There are teenage girls shouting and screaming at the top of their lungs outside Glasgow Central on Saturdays that are less desperate and less obvious attention whores than you. Is that what attracts you to me?
DeeGeeOneHamer
These 2 paragraphs say it all. Saying why Rangers should be punished for their wrong doing, but also identifying the basis of Scottish football creating a better (and more successful) future for itself. My experiences of the Old Firm are few and far between. Celtic @ Palmerston circa 1984, fair amount of trouble on the Portland Drive end. Celtic @ Filbert Street circa 2000, loads of bother and sectarian bile from the travelling hoardes. Rangers @ Palmerston circa 1983, fair amount of trouble on the Portland Drive end. Rangers @ Hampden Park 2008, couldn't even walk from Queens Park to Hampden without being offered out, threatened and attempted bullying. Do they really carry on as previously mentioned week in week out in the SPL?

Florentine_Pogen
Interesting theory "from another place":- "I'll take a guess. These guys belong to a club. You could call it the 'funeral undertakers' club. They have no obvious connection but they all use a standard template, with minor variations for buying up sick businesses and burying them. They know how to do leveraged buy outs, CVA's, liquidations, how to stiff the owners, the revenue, the creditors and anyone else who is in the road in a business sense. The british members of the club will live outside UK for tax purposes and have business registered there, the foreign ones don't need to. The setting up and dismantling of offshore companies in tax shelters is routine. So they will cross each others path fairly frequently and a trawl of account holders in Grand Cayman would reveal thousands of racketeers who would have lots in common, and have done business together at some time. Should prosecute them all for fraud and tax evasion, confiscate their passports and leave them stateless................but thats another argument. For the moment, Surr Davie, Craigiebhoy and Charliebhoy are giving us our best laff for years. My take on Charlie is that it will all end in tears. He'll stiff them big time. Don't even know if he cares about transfer bans etc. Players cost money anyway. Must tell him about jelly and ice cream when i next meet him at the undertakers club." Please be true. Captain_Sensible
The negative effect of a visit from the old firm can be shown in the fall in the St Johnstone support on Sunday. Thanks to the clubs official twitter we know that there were 3860 Saints fans at the game against Dundee United on the 21st of April. The club did not release a tweet on the crowd on Sunday but as the Rangers support were in both the North and Ormond stands which were full and had at least 500 in the main stand it looks like only around 2200 Saints fans went to this game, a game in which we could have qualified for Europe. So Rangers come to town and around 45% of the fans who were at the last home game decide to stay away! Does this happen all over the country. if the away supports were to boycott would the home attendances go up? Its not just the home support that stays away but the travelling support as well. Ibrox is the nearest ground to St. Mirren yet we take bigger travelling supports to Inverness & Aberdeen than we do to Rangers. Hardly anyone goes to Parkhead.
The Left Wing
Tainted Champions - of a 1 horse race! When other horses were able to compete you blew it each and every single time. So when Maldonado won the Spanish GP at the weekend, when Hamilton had to start at the back after cheating, this somehow tainted the victory? You sir, are a cock of the highest order. Captain_Sensible
So when Maldonado won the Spanish GP at the weekend, when Hamilton had to start at the back after cheating, this somehow tainted the victory? Were there just 2 drivers in the race? Does Lewis Hamilton exploit sectarianism to fund his cars? You sir, are a cock of the highest order. Jinky67
By a mere 4 points! You said neck and neck. 4 points ahead isn't neck and neck. I could do you a dot to dot diagram to explain if this helps you The loss to Rangers was the key game. You also lost the key games to Killie & Hearts in the cups. Throw in Europe and you lost every single key game you played last season! The 20 games prior to winning the title at Rugby park we took 55 out of 60 points. Limped home Key games? So when we were 15 points behind going to Fir Park that wasn't a key game? Each and every game thereafter in the league while clawing back that deficit wasn't a key game? The Rangers game also wasn't key since the league was effectively over and the result had no bearing on the title destination. All it would have been was the icing on the cake and bragging rights but key game? Youre trying way too hard Tainted Champions - of a 1 horse race! When other horses were able to compete you blew it each and every single time. Pointing & laughing at you! As another poster has already pointed out that you couldn't come across more desperate if you tried I can actually imagine you sitting in an Internet cafe or public library just now pointing and laughing at the computer screen such is the level of fuckwittery you display daily. For some reason that mental image of you seems to fit Edited May 16, 2012 by Jinky67

topcat(The most tip top)
So when Maldonado won the Spanish GP at the weekend, when Hamilton had to start at the back after cheating, this somehow tainted the victory? To describe Lewis Hamilton as having been "cheating" is disingenuous. Like all his competitors he was trying to carry as little fuel as possible in order to gain the maximum weight advantage he pushed that just too far and ran out of fuel He was in breach of the rules but in footballing terms this is more like getting caught just offside as opposed to the kind of breach that usually attracts outrage: diving, two footed studs up tackles. systematically defrauding the taxman of tens of millions of pounds, bribing referees, deliberate handball, steroid abuse. Also I think you may be confusing "tainted" with "invalidated"
Chazza1910
The only thing(s) tainted are the trophies Rangers won while cheating. I was going to say give us our Scottish Cup from 2003, but we were cheating too, I suppose. Rangers did cheat us out of a fee for Zurab though, which sent us into admin. Some b*****d loophole. Now all Rangers' scheming has to be paid for, in one fell swoop.

wunfellaff
Does Lewis Hamilton exploit sectarianism to fund his cars? It was widely argued at the time he got his first F1 drive, that he only got it because of his colour as FIA wanted to open up new markets. Ie if 2 drivers of equal ability were up for it he was the preffered quantum. -
