Gaspode Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 This is off topic BUT !!!. Easter Road capacity : 20,250 seats. Tynecastle capacity :17,400 seats Hampden capacity :52,063 seats Sooooo 50,000 plus glory hunters at a cup final and using the maths 37,650 combined total off the two Edinburgh stadiums ???? So how the FCUK can these two teams not sell out near capacity in their home league games each season and surmount a decent title challenge against the old firm then . Just think after a few seasons selling near capacity games they would have the money to keep their best players and bring a few decent ones in. FCUK ME man and they call the old firm glory hunting B*stards. Because the SPL is weighted in favour of the Old Firm. itzdrk Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 hearts - not in admin hibs - not in admin st mirren - not in admin celtic - not in admin now when does that appeal begin? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JamboRobbo Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 Point taken but I'll bet there was at least another 20,000 plus Hearts an Hibee fans that never got a ticket to the final because it was always going to be a sell out even if Hampden had 70,000 plus seats. Never mind. It's on BBC, so you'll be able to watch it on council telly. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 f**k sake this thread has went well off topic. Appeal isn't till to tonight, I'm sure it won't take that long for them to upheld the ban (or extend) 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
hellbhoy Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 Maybe something to do with people not wishing to pay over the oods to watch a product that is flawed in a league where only the bigot brothers can actually win due to them hoovering up the best talent, tv money etc etc Don't start with the attendance crap or we will roll out your mobs crowds in the eighties again. Furthermore in respect of glory hunters there are no bigger perpetrators of this crime than fans of the OF. See Seville for example. Can't argue with that. So it's the glory then instead of supporting the team through matter what even if the ticket may seem a bit expensive. Then fans complain there is a shite team but won't help out financially now and then further adding to the clubs woes and complaining more and more but won't actually buy a few tickets each season. You have to pay for success. The mind boggles sometimes 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Spain Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 So has absolutely f**k all actually happened today? The appeal hasn't started, no-ones claimed Rangers are going to sign Michael Mols, no-ones attempted to raise £1billion and no-ones pulled out or bid for Rangers? Well this was a complete waste of a day. What about the orcs over at RM? Nothing amusing for us to ridicule today? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
hellbhoy Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 Suggest you take the time to read some of this thread instead of coming out with complete and utter bullshit. You might actually learn something. No wonder everyone despises the old firm. Now piss off back to your bigot forum ^^^^^ RAGING 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Add ICT to that as well. Dont agree with boycotting the Scottish Cup games that HURTS us as gate is split eg match against Perth mob away we dont go crowd is 2,000 which Rangers get 50% of, with our away support crowd is more like 10,000 or what ever their stadium holds. The other thing we NEED to be vigalent on fellow bears is those that still want to hammer us especially since we seem to have found away out of this murky period in our history. Yes they wanted us buried convieniently forgetting that Cesspit FC operate under 2 co's. The Old Celtic Football and Athletic Club and the new co the bunnet founded when he took over. I am sick of the duplicity in Scotland the apathy of the majority has allowed these scum to gain positions of power where they use it to exert undue and unfair influence. Time to take back not only Scottish Football but the country as well. IF and it is a BIG IF the silent majority can be bothered to get off their collective arses and seize back control. Listening to some PF to keep the spirits up and 'Time' seems apt for them..... So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking Racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older, Shorter of breath and one day closer to death. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pozbaird Posted May 16, 2012 Author Share Posted May 16, 2012 (edited) SSN had a reporter live at Hampden about 30 minutes ago. He looked a bit chilly. It was dry, but obviously a nip still in the air, and the wind was making it feel a bit colder too. Oh aye... he was there to tell us fcuk all is happening and the appeal panel have sent out for two chicken tikka masalas, basmati rice, three poppadoms and a Peshwari nan. The Rangers delegation haven't turned up yet - they're still at the Mar Hall hotel and spa in Bishopton, where they had an overnight stay to be fresh for the meeting. More developments to follow.... Kyle Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 (edited) I don't understand what St Johnstone have done wrong in their eyes, and Motherwell, Hearts and County have done right? Our manager and chairman have both come out and basically said they want Rangers in the SPL so I'd expect us to vote that way with the newco. Lomas is constantly in the press greeting about their situation Must be the gall of us asking for money for our best player in January, and telling them to get lost when they couldn't give us any. What a bloody cheek. Edited May 16, 2012 by Kyle 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pozbaird Posted May 16, 2012 Author Share Posted May 16, 2012 (edited) Can I ask a question? H&D have made no-one redundant, and Rangers aren't sending out season ticket renewals. No offence to the non-playing Rangers staff, but what are the ticket office staff actually doing every day? Angry Birds too?
