deadasdillinger
Went to see The Good Dinosaur tonight with the girlfriend. A standard Disney-Pixar affair with the right amount of comedy and hits to the feels. Didn't find a single character dislikable. The tripping on berries scene and the Clawtooth Mountain scenes were my personal favourites. It's pretty amazing how impressive the animation is now, I mean it's always been impressive but as the years have gone by naturally it's improved but it's insanely good. 9/10 Different strokes and all that. I gave it a 3/10. Took my wee boy and thought it was total shit, easily the worst Pixar I've seen. The animation is gorgeous but the plot is an absolute box ticking exercise. Nothing I hadn't seen before in a thousand kids films and don't remember laughing once. Wee man is two and says he enjoyed it but given how restless he was for the last half hour I didn't think he was that interested.
Albino Rover
I haven't seen the film but as a great man said: "If you start oohing and aahing at the digital animation, it says something about the plot..."
Ira Gaines
7/10 for me. Really good, but a bit strong on the melodrama. Bridge of Spies is the easiest 10/10 I've given out in ages, and if Mark Rylance doesn't win Best Supporting, it's a travesty.
Ira Gaines
Carol f**k me. Unreal. Absolutely unreal. It's almost dreamlike at times. This is going to rank as one of my favourite movies ever I reckon. 10/10

Ira Gaines
For the record, I've recently thought Crimson Peak, The Walk and The Scorch Trials were a bit gash.
killienick
Divergent 4/10. Thought this was absolutely awful. After the film finished, I still don't know what a divergent is and why the government are so scared of them. Pish!
Blootoon87
Alien 7/10. If I was Ripley I probably would have just left Jones tbh.
tongue_tied_danny
Bridge Of Spies Tom Hanks plays a lawyer who is roped into defending a Soviet spies during the height of the cold war. A very good film, best I've seen for a while. 9/10
Savage Henry
After watching Black Mass, I looked out Whitey, the documentary of his trial. It's utterly bizarre - some of his victims' families actually believe his conviction is tainted. The malpractice in the Boston PD/FBI field office goes far further than portrayed in the film. Thoroughly recommended for all who enjoyed Black Mass.

Co.Down Hibee
Fury Really good WW2 flick, Brad Pitt is excellent as the tank commander and the rest play it well too, 8/10
Blootoon87
The Jungle Book. Classic. Mowgli is a wee b*****d though, just ditching Baloo and Bagheera as soon as he gets a glimpse of skirt.
invergowrie arab
Black Mass - in and of itself really good but the whole film, and indeed every scene and character in the film, you have seen a dozen times before 7/10
BFTD
The Jungle Book. Classic. Mowgli is a wee b*****d though, just ditching Baloo and Bagheera as soon as he gets a glimpse of skirt. I just would not have that when I was five; credibility stretched to the breaking point IMYO. Still couldn't see me abandoning an awesome bear and panther double-act for a lassie, if I'm being honest with myself
KnightswoodBear
I watched taken 3 yesterday, thought it was really poor. I know I shouldn't have expected much but it's quite incredible that an action film can have such underwhelming action scenes. There also seemed to be a bizarre lack of blood when people were getting shot to pieces or having heads smashed through glass cabinets etc. Predictable and really disappointing. The curse of the "PG-13" rating in the States. Any violence has to be almost completely bloodless or it's bumped up to an "R" and they don't make any money.
Grim O'Grady
The Lady & The Van. Thought it was a brilliant idea of a film. Based on a true story, not giving anything away it's about a woman who lives in a van & how it reveals how she came to be in that position. Lots of giggles, dark humor & other emotions. 7.5/10 Grimbo
