Final destination 3

Stoped watching it after about 45 minutes as it was pretty crap.

Some funny bits though , but a series of elaborate deaths doesnt make a movie.

2/10

Wo wo wo wo! The Final Destination series of films are fucking brilliant to watch in slow motion. Its makes its more funny to laugh at. I would give all the films 9/10 but i just enjoy watching people die in films

The Incredible Hulk ( 2008 )

A lot more of an action movie than a lot of the comic book numbers. I feel like I'm handing out 8s for fun these days. The final battle between Blonsky and Banner is epic stuff, and the action is more than enough to keep engaged. As far as summer blockbusters go, this one ticks all of the right boxes, so it has to score high. Plus, the final scene is enough to get anyone excited.

Cool, might take a look. Anything would be good to remove the not distant enough memory of Hulk starring Eric Bana (he was good despite the shitness of the film).

Bedazzled (1967)

Dudley Moore in Stanley Donen's film about the Devil's race with God to get 100 billion souls. Later remade with Liz Hurley and Brendan Fraser in 2000.

Moderately funny, but watchable with a great premise that regardless of how crap your life is there's always a hell of a lot of ways that it could be worse.

Also featured Raquel Welch, one of those extremely ugly people that for some reason were considered beautiful due to the way they dressed.

Jar City

A somewhat unnerving Icelandic thriller about a police investigation into a murder in Reykjavik. The island itself is a perfect backdrop to the unfolding strangeness, as it is filmed in such a way as to make it an incredibly bleak, wind battered but desolately beautiful environment .

Despite becoming hugely confused about half way through, most of the intricacies of the plot resolved themselves satisfactorily by the end, and I really enjoyed it.

They do eat puffins though, your Icelander.

Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny

Due to a part insomniac, part indigestion state during the night, I switched on Sky Movies to watch this at 1.30 this morning. Bit of a strange film, but also a mildly amusing romp about Tenacious D, Jack Black and Kyle Gass, looking for the ultimate guitar plectrum, or Pick, which is a tooth taken from the devil himself, which they believe will make them rock Gods.

This leads to a strange encounter with Tim Robbins in their quest and a showdown with Satan (Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, reprising his role from the band's "Tribute" video).

All in all, not too bad and ideal if you're looking for something a little daft

Shoot 'Em Up ( 2007 )

An incredible amount of fun, and is exactly what an action movie should be. Action, action and more action. There's also some good one liners, and you find that Clive Owen is really good with a carrot. There really isn't any room to breathe with this one. It lasts for about 85 minutes, and doesn't let up for a single one. If you don't like movies with lots of plot holes, I'd recommend that you stay away, but if you like your action movies to have action, then you'll probably be too distracted to notice.

National Treasure (2004)

This was good fun, like an Indy for the kids but with some pretty intelligent reasoning behind their decisions. (Whether on not anything that they said was true, I don't know, know very little of American history, but it sounded good!).

A great cast, hey I even liked Cage in this one! I might even watch the sequel at some point, it was that entertaining. All the characters you actually cared enough to have an opinion of them at the end which is good for a kids film!

El Mascarado Massacre (2006)

A group making an amateur porno stop in a village in Mexico in which Rey Misterio has been banished to after he went crazy and started killing people in the ring.

Needless to say they don't do so well against him.

Just below average, but the ending in which after El Mascarado has killed all of the morons, he takes their camper van and drives off out the village with music reminiscent of a cheesy buddy movie is worth a bonus comedy point!

Worth watching if you are a wrestling fan and know who Misterio is...

For those that don't it's this guys dad...
