I've officially been told that I'm being made redundant but the blow has been softened after just finding out that I'll get 5 months paid notice from whenever I leave next month and I get to keep every penny even if I get hired again within that time period. Even though there may be some far superior drinks available at the bar, sometimes a cold, crisp pint of Tennents is exactly the mood drink which you're after at 5pm on a Friday.
