Hearing a woman sing the alphabet to her young daughter to the tune of Auld Lang Syne.

It really does fit, but splitting the "lmnop" and having "n" at the beginning of a phrase seems odd.

It's pretty delightful though. In Scotland or still en Afrique?

Amazed no-one has mentioned us gubbing the taffs in taffyland yet.

But to be fair, in the finest traditions of Scottish sporting history, we nearly made a complete cobblers of it. 20 nil up at half time, another 7 points added just after half time then hung on like Titanic survivors on driftwood to win 26-27 having had two 10 minute second half spells in the sin bin.

Still, a win is a win.

Meant to asked earlier, but what's the tea like there?

So you can get "Lipton", which is basically how most folk have it in Scotland. It could be any brand, but they always refer to it as Lipton because big Tam Lipton was the man.

Then you can get attaya, which is very strong, frothy green tea with loads of sugar.

In Guinea it's reasonably common to mix tea and coffee, which isn't as horrific as it sounds. Here's a picture of a chap preparing some:

If it’s not too personal, what do you do for a living that allows you the luxury of cutting about Africa during the winter months? Seems like ideal employment to me.

Live-in seasonal hospitality. Always loads of jobs going and you need next to nothing in terms of qualifications, so there's nothing stopping you.
