Before I attempt Thursday and following on from my no guesses correct out of nine yesterday, can I ask what my fellow quizzers tactics are for those where you have absolutely no idea? Do you stick with A's etc, how do you pick your wild guesses? (Not 50/50s obviously)...Thanks.

 

Huge success as my guessing went shooting up from 0/9 to 1/7. Knew 2 (synonym and Armstrong). For another poor 3/10. Two actors and titanic both wrong on the 50/50 approach too. Another bad day.

First, @deej - the Friday Aussie quiz usually appears on Thursday afternoon so that should give you plenty of time to get your score in. Can't speak for Eck re: the cup, he is a hard taskmaster. St'astnou cestu!

Re: league rejiggery. I'm still in a mind to have a 2 league set-up, with 16 teams in the top tier (unless anyone has any strong objections). If we had 2 top leagues of 12, the 3rd league would only have 7 teams which isn't really enough is it? If we do go with a 16 team top league, I'd say it should be 3 up and 1 down. Does anyone have any ideas about how to freshen up / liven up the league? I'm stumped!

Anyway, in the Premier League, AFJ is in danger of Hibsing / Linfielding it, and Eck is finding it tricky to juggle admin and quizzing duties.

The big question is of course, is Alang1993's name actually A. Lang (as I thought) or Alan G (as Eck thinks) ? Might use that as a tie-breaker questions some time....

Certainly! You both get a bonus point in the league. I'll deduct them from Alang1993's tally, since whichever it is, he has failed in his capitalisation duties. It should either be ALang1993 or AlanG1993. Either way, we deserve to know the truth.
