Shandon Par
Somewhere on iPlayer is “Everybody in the Place: an Incomplete History of Britain 1984-1992. One time Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller presents this doc with some terrific music and footage. Much of it is presented as a classroom history lecture, with school kids trying watching rave footage etc. If you like music, check it. If you’re a teacher check it out too. Boghead ranter
Thou Shalt Not Kill - to be found stashed away on More4. Italian murder show with English subtitles. Different, unrelated murder investigation every week (2 hour episodes), with the character backstories developing each week. The main detective is hot, if the rest of the post doesn't encourage your give it a try.
Mark Connolly
Not really bothered either way by the Coke adverts, but love the fact they use Only You by Yazoo.

I stumbled on part of that a few weeks ago late on a Friday night on BBC 4 and wondered what the hell was going on. The looks of bewilderment on the kids' faces at the rave scenes were priceless.

jimmy boo
Anyone watched Top Boy before? Story of drug dealing gang in fictional London estate. First 2 series were on channel 4 then after a break of a few years a 3rd series starts on Netflix this week. I'd never heard of it until today but it looks like my kind of thing so i'll obviously be starting from the beginning.

Funky Nosejob
For anyone who missed this the first time it was on, here’s another opportunity to watch “The Last Breath”, the story of diver Chris Lemons’ remarkable brush with death. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0004y5s Duncan Allcock’s full gamut of emotions and Dave Yuasa’s sometimes brutal pragmatism make it a compelling watch.
