DA Baracus Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 The use of animals, or more accurately shite CGI animals, in adverts. Saw one for the loan company mentioned a few posts up with smiling, dancing orangutans today. Utter gash. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~ Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 The "prankster" in the Toyota Aygo advert is a total dick. He isn't just any old prankster, he's an "Internet prankster" Which IMO would make him a 100% dick 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Blootoon87 Posted August 9, 2014 Share Posted August 9, 2014 Watching Rocky IV just now, Rocky survives the first round after being knocked down and still being on his knees after an eight count. No chance. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
weirdcal Posted August 9, 2014 Share Posted August 9, 2014 Started reading from start to see if this is mentioned but others got the seethe rising. Two words "practice, protein" The most irritating advert going 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
19QOS19 Posted August 9, 2014 Share Posted August 9, 2014 Watching Rocky IV just now, Rocky survives the first round after being knocked down and still being on his knees after an eight count. No chance. TBF the entire bouts are farcical. They never have a guard up (esp. Rocky) and are receiving blows every round, yet they always manage to go the whole hog! I suppose if it was realistic it'd be pretty dull. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
welshbairn Posted August 10, 2014 Author Share Posted August 10, 2014 (edited) Legacy on BBC 2. Not bad, but they have spooks in their own London HQ offices using electric fake gas lamps to make the atmosphere secretive. In the 70's I think. Just fk off arty lighting man. P.S. Just realise they did it to let you know there was a miners's strike and power cuts on. Still fucking annoying though. 19QOS19 Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 When folk speak on the phone and cover the speaker to inform the rest of the room what's being said by the other person. I know it's to let the audience know, but surely they could wait to come off the phone and tell us! 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
scottsdad Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 Deal or No Deal is still on. Still with Edmonds. STill gash but apparently they've added "box 23" to suck the drama out of the whole thing 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
callum-ayr Posted August 16, 2014 Share Posted August 16, 2014 Don't know if this is the right bit, but the football advert on Sky Sports for the new season where they sing a song then go to one guys face where they sing "altogether now!. Seen it about 100 times in the last week and it gets more annoying every time! 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheScarf Posted August 18, 2014 Share Posted August 18, 2014 That cunting Nokia Lumia advert. More specifically, the song at the end. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
weirdcal Posted August 19, 2014 Share Posted August 19, 2014 That cunting Nokia Lumia advert. More specifically, the song at the end. the full song itself is fucking tragic, its practically the bit on the advert on loop with little breaks now and then. Abysmal 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Estragon Posted August 20, 2014 Share Posted August 20, 2014 My missus has threatened to divorce me if I start singing when that advert comes on again. It's not about the singing...she's just unsatisfied. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
KnightswoodBear Posted August 20, 2014 Share Posted August 20, 2014 It's not about the singing...she's just unsatisfied. Actually she's threatened to divorce me if I don't stop reciting the 92/93 Rangers Champions League squad to stave off early arrival at the Billy Mill roundabout. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Latino Lover Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 That's the one. These Irish mammy stereotypes are all over now, it's not remotely funny or relevant to me. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
