Well then take advantage and train him to expect food ONLY when he sits in front of the TV. Should start getting you out of the role as they compare notes. “Aye, my Ginger started sitting in front of the TV too after Richey watched him…”

That dog's name is Yardley and he's a Pollok fan. Despite that he is a very good boy. Edited March 30 by peasy23

Your starter for 10: which Scottish football club have a cat on their badge? Spoiler That's a Scottish wildcat and not a lion. I didn't know that. Any particular reason for the cat on the badge?
tamthebam
It comes from the Clan Badge of the Sutherlands, the local clan. The area of Sutherland (from the Norse "Southern Land" is known as "Cataidh" in Gaelic. The word comes from the name of the inhabitants "Catti". It is thought "Catti" means "cat people". The name "Caithness" also supposedly comes from the Norse "Katones" or "Peninsula of the Cat People*". An old myth says the Catti landed in Scotland and were attacked by Wildcats (or Smudger's ancestor) and were so impressed by their ferocity they adopted the wildcat as their symbol. I'll get my book about Football Club badges out sometime or other.. *I've been to Caithness. Not many of them look like Natasha Kinski (film joke).

pozbaird
You look out a pair of jeans, getting ready to go out, and the phone rings. By the time you get through the phone call and head back upstairs, well, fcuk me, never saw that coming. Much.
BFTD
Noticed one of the neighbourhood cats on our kitchen windowsill a week or two back, and we've got a bag of treats that ours don't like, so I reached out and put a wee pile next to it, which it seemed to appreciate. A few days ago, a different cat was there, so I put a few more kibbles out; it buggered off, but eventually came back and scarfed them. Today, I walked into the kitchen and the pair of them were on the windowsill trying to pull the window open a bit further, presumably so they could make a raid on the kitchen. I think I may have made a mistake here, but I gave them a bit more as an experiment and we'll see if there's four next time.

I left one of the living room windows open a few nights ago and one of my feline neighbours left a disparaging comment on our carpet regarding the absence of treats I appreciate that I've been the master of my own downfall here.

Popular Post Zetterlund
My sister is currently fostering a blind kitten. The entire litter had some kind of eye infection and this was the only one to survive, but only because they removed her eyes. The wee thing is a miracle. She chases her toys around almost like a normal cat using sound & smell, and has mapped out the apartment so can confidently find her way about and climb around the furniture etc. She'll be going to her new permanent home soon, hopefully a long & luxurious life awaits.
