Jim Murphy

Inconveniently for George a lot of people can still remember that he was a Dundee United supporter when it suited his political career to be one, so overdoing the Celtic angle as above just makes him look like a cynical opportunist. I can`t see the sectarian song issue gaining much traction for Jim Murphy (or George Galloway for that matter) in the absence of Rangers getting back to being a regular title challenger again and as things stand at the moment they will be lucky to get promoted this season. That means this type of approach won`t get Galloway into Holyrood any time soon, so if the Respect thing doesn`t work out in the Westminster general election his political career is probably over.

Has Jim Murphy criticised Ruth Davidson on anything since he became leader?

In fairness she's never been in government and never will be so she's not done anything to be criticised on really. Pretty easy ride she gets up here on account of her party's toxicity

Just to be clear then, the new leader of the "Scottish" Labour party has not in anyway criticised the leader of the "Scottish" Tories.

Maybe you can answer this question then. Is the pan-Unionist alliance with Labour & the Tories still going? With the failure of Murphy to criticise the Tories in Scotland you can only assume the pact is still an ongoing thing it seems.....

At this stage it's a pretty pointless question. If we were a couple of months down the line, fair enough.
