Jambomo
Just now, ICTChris said: French police searching a train for MEP Mike Hookem. This is the end of UKIP isn't it? How can they continue? I take it he must think he's killed Woolfe or he wouldn't run away like this, not just for punching somebody. I wish they couldn't continue but they are a party that can and will brazen out any kind of scandal/embarrassment with a shrug, laugh and appeal to the common man of "we'll we've all done that"..

ICTChris
Why do they all hate each other so much in UKIP? They should be over the moon, they won?

doulikefish
Hookem should just jump on the back of a lorry to get across the channel to avoid arrest
MEADOWXI
It takes a lot to be so incredibly divisive and mental to come across as more self-loathing and in-fight ridden than the Labour Party....... But with one Hookem it is done Beginning to understand why Farage drank so much trying to control these lunatics, who by listening to BBC Radio this morning are hopefully of becoming the official opposition at some point in the future as they overtake Labour.
MEADOWXI
Never mind no blood on the brain, If you were told that no blood was getting to the brain of UKIP MEPs would you be surprised, French national police: No calls received regarding Steven Woolfe Press Association Posted at15:01 A spokeswoman for the national police in France said: "No one has called us about this incident and so we have no plans to investigate it at this time. If someone decides to ring and make a complaint, we will of course follow it up." Share Share this post on Twitter Facebook Read more about these links. Steven Woolfe has 'no bleed on brain' Posted at14:58 UKIP's press release also specifies, contrary to earlier reports: "There is no bleeding on the brain according to tests."

I didn't think there would be bleeding on the brain as the reports were that he was punched and hit his head. No mention of him getting kicked on the arse.

Thing is this latest bizarre escapade is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the divided chaotic morass of mutual loathing and internecine plotting that is UKIP. One of their main donors, Arron Banks, had this to say, amongst over things, in the Guardian (bit of a bizarre choice of platform really) only yesterday. On Diane James: she ran into a brick wall trying to tackle the fifth column within Ukip, which wants to frustrate any attempts at reform. On Douglas Carswell and Suzanne Evans: Farage had to fight an extremely draining two-front war against these opportunist carpetbaggers during the referendum, as they sought to seize control of the party he built up from nothing while he was out winning the campaign. Led by Douglas Carswell and Suzanne Evans, this cabal would utterly destroy Ukip. On the NEC: This body is populated by a motley collection of amateurs; leftovers from a bygone age, when Ukip was a ragtag band of volunteers on the fringes of British politics. Watching them try to run the modern political movement that Farage built is like watching a team of circus clowns trying to carry out a pit stop at the Silverstone Grand Prix. On Neil Hamilton: the absurd figure of Neil Hamilton, a relic from the dregs of the Tory party best known for the “cash for questions” scandal and exactly the sort of representative Ukip doesn’t need. On the 'leading lights' of the party in general: nothing but a rabble of no-name, no-talent nobodies to choose from. These people would be out of their depth in a paddling pool, and couldn’t be more unfit to run a modern political party.

EdgarusQPFC
The Member of UKIP wanted for punching another member is called Mike Hookem and he is UKIP's spokesperson on defense! You seriously cant make this shit up! What a total farce, you have this, the new leader quits after a matter of days, Farage quits, comes back, quits again comes back (although I think this time he had every intention of coming back, honestly think he pretended to quit until the heat over Brexit dissipated and he could shake all responsibility of Brexit. UKIP was always a fucking mess but this just takes the fucking biscuit.

Bleeding into the language centre of the brain it looks like then. On the upside, if he's feeling brighter he'll be resigning from UKIP in the morning.
