The game against Celtic, originally due to be played on New Year's Day, has been rearranged for Wednesday, February 11 and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports with a 19:45 kick off.

Should the Scottish Cup tie against Inverness on the 7th February be postponed, or end in a draw, the replay date is Tuesday 10th February and that would take precedence over the Celtic game.

Anybody who still has their ticket from the abandoned match should keep hold of it as it will still be valid for the rearranged fixture.

We should deliberately draw with Inverness just to f**k up the bigots travel plans.

The seethe on New Year's day was utterly glorious.

We should accidentally over water the pitch in the days preceding the Inverness game, in a week where it's forecast to rain every day. A dry spell forecast to start on the Sunday and last a few days should see the cup game go ahead under the floodlights, thanks to our first class drainage system. Be unfortunate to f**k up the understanding and mellow Celtic supporters travel plans, but thems the rules. We can only follow them.

They'll just have to suck it up like they graciously and magnanimously did on New Year's Day. I'm sure they will again.

Still running with this myth!

Taking great delight in something that didn't happen, what a sad bunch of losers.

Patrick fans, probably the most pathetic of all the diddies.

Presumably the SPFL wouldn't have rescheduled it for here if that was the case.

Unless they'd play it on Monday 16th February, which would mean both clubs playing Saturday-Monday, the implication is maybe that it would be delayed? Perhaps played on the date of the next round?

I'm shocked. I'd have thought you of all people would know that Cup games take precedence over league games.

That's why during the referee strike, the Scottish Cup replays were given priority for officials and were only postponed because of the weather.

"Something that didn't happen" seems to have you completely riled, though.

Did you find out about the game being off when on the ferry over as well?

Their getting angsty about playing their bigot cousins on Sunday.

A&E expecting an influx of women with black eyes and falling injuries :(

^ Rewriting history.

Pace yourself with your seethe drewby - be late March or early April before we cede to getting round to playing this fixture.

We're Partick Thistle, we'll play you when we decide to.

If Thistle's game goes to a replay then the re-arranged Celtic game will be shifted as the replay takes precedence.
