Deeboy
We probably wouldnt have been able to sign Boyata if Denayer hadnt done so well That's a fairly strange comment, unless Boyata has said something along those lines?
Vbhoy
That's a fairly strange comment, unless Boyata has said something along those lines? In his first press conference he said that he wanted a season like the one Denayer had. Keep in mind Denayer got his first cap while at Celtic so it makes sense. Lichtie78
to the people saying ødegaard would be a great signing, how many of you have actually seen him play?
Deeboy
Was Boyata not the guy who gave away a penalty and scored an own goal when Dundee beat Man City last season? I'm not too sure, it may have been Denayer!
RandomGuy.
to the people saying ødegaard would be a great signing, how many of you have actually seen him play? Not many id have though, the fact every major club in the world tried to sign him probably suggests hes a bit better than Calum McGregor though
Deeboy
Madrid already said that if Odegaard was loaned out, it wold be to a Spanish team though, did they not? It'd be an amazing capture for Celtic. Just a shame he'll end up playing against folk like Paul Paton.
H_B
If he does move to Celtic for one season and he is the difference to Celtic qualifying into the Champios league and mibees qualifying out of the group then he has done us a turn by helping the club earn millions in the process. Are you bringing him in as manager? Ronny Deila qualifying out of the group
The Saintee
I would love to see Odegaard over here. I'm sure Frazer Wright would as well.
djchapsticks
to the people saying ødegaard would be a great signing, how many of you have actually seen him play? Plenty of us, though you don't have to have seen him play to recognise that not many 16 year olds get pinned down to an £80k a week contract at one of the world's biggest clubs. He's quite obviously something special and would be a massive coup for Celtic to get him on loan for a year.
Jackie Daytona
He seems to have been struggling in the Castilla side under Zidane. I saw a news article about it.
hoopy1967
He's having trouble in the Castilla side as he is playing for them but never training, instead training with the 1st team I think? Which is obviously annoying Zidane. And Madrid did say they would want to loan him to a Spanish side, but with the links between him and Deila, Odegaard could probably convince them to let him come here

the 67
He seems to have been struggling in the Castilla side under Zidane. I saw a news article about it.Sure I read his father had a clause put in his contract that he would be training with the first team....that being set in stone, was always going to make it difficult when playing for Castilla. Playing in a new enviroment, playing a different style of football and of course not knowing your Castillas team mates game inside out....was always going to make it hard for the lad. Tbh...would be great to get him...but can't see it.....his wages are off the chart for a kid... even paying half his 80k PW wages would be out our reach. Edit to add....80k PW for a teenager....the football world has gone mad.
