Anyway, BBC reporting wee Ruthie is on the verge of quitting, being reported as a major blow to the Union....

Absolutely delicious. Most of the English Gammons will be happy to see the Union sacrificed on the altar of a hard Brexit.

Oblige them please Scotland.

It's some patter watching Malky get ragdolled all over the place and trying his concern trolling act over and over.

Completely unable to answer basic questions as well as getting the simplest of things wrong. Can't wait to see how fuming he will get when independence happens. You just absolutely know he's a wrong un.

No doubt that whatever happens in Scotland's future, you'll still be able to set your watch by DomDom adding nothing to anything and continuing his forum policing schtick. He's an angry wee boy.

Thoroughout the indistry, it is pretty widely known that Ian Woods comments are highly politicised and are not a true reflection of something that in any case, can vary widely anyway, as potential reserves is nothing more than an educated guess. Indeed, even when geoscientists identify possible hydrocarbon bearing structures using seismic data, its still effectively an educated guess to commit to drilling there.

This is why so many dusters are drilled even in this day and age. So you see, to take the word of a highly politicised old man as gospel is the preserve of an idiot.... And here we are.

Was it not the Wood groups oil price predictions that were higher than everywhere elses, including the OBR and the Scottish Governments, before the crash ? I'm sure I remember something showing their predictions before independence was a possibility and the difference after it was very much on the agenda. I.e they're c***s.

Anyone that can't see how much the UK has fucked such a massive gift is beyond me.

Anyone that truly believes our oil reserves are worthless is a moron.

Anyone that thinks leaving the UK in charge to squander the next 40 years is also moron.

There's no point debating with these people anymore. They're just thick.

Bring back the glory days of no voters railing against planned corporation tax cuts after independence. Now that's a brilliant thing apparently and not a tartan Tory capitalist conspiracy. Amazing how things change.

Yep.
It's really simple. If nationalists want me to change my vote they'll need to show me, in some credible detail, how they will balance the economy to make Scotland work. They'll need to show me how they will trade with our biggest export market in England when the EU will ban us from trading with them in the event of a hard Brexit. They'll need to show how Scotland can have a more diverse economy than one that relies absolutely on a polluting hydrocarbon industry. And they'll need to show how their absolute reliance on North Sea Oil tallies with their bollocks about wanting to clean up the environment.
I've stated my opinion on Brexit too many times. I voted to remain. The case to leave wasn't successfully made IMO. However the country voted and as a democrat I respect the result of the referendum. I really wish our politicians would too. If we "crash out" of Europe without a deal it will be because our MP's failed to agree with the negotiated withdrawal agreement. It was presented to parliament three times and three times MP's voted against it. As I've said the SNP even had the audacity to abstain in a vote that proposed the UK be kept in a Customs Union! But I'll tell you what - I've got far more faith in Boris Johnstons ability to get a trade deal done quickly with the US than I have in Nicola Sturgeons ability to do a deal with Westminster to keep Scotland's imports and exports flowing through it's normal ports and airports.
Nae c**t wants your vote mate. Unlucky

Its the Scottish nationslists that do not answer questions and its them that are angry. Plenty of wrong uns on here but he is definitely not one of them.

The Helen Lovejoy-esque, faux concern about the climate impact of North Sea oil now is particularly amusing, given that the same Yoon roasters have been telling everyone that it was just about to run out every year for the past three decades.

So, we still have Yoonballs rattling on about day jobs and independence-obsessed nasty nats, yet their hero, Bowlcut Davidson, has just fucked off and will be resigning in the morning, all while their other hero Bojo decides to try and shutdown Parliament in a move akin to Nazi Germany.

Violence is never the answer, but I’m honestly getting to the stage of Batista-bombing anyone that tries to say independence isn’t a viable option.
