101
Following behind a van today with "lest we forget" emblazoned on the back of it. The dozy arse driving forgot to indicate the entire time I was following them through multiple roundabouts and junctions. Clearly their level or remeberance is a road safety issue. More importantly who are the Beeb getting to do their match day coverage on the Sunday, Huw Edwards would presumably be in the frame but is still on the sick.
southernrover
Walked past a house the other day whose house number was engraved on a plaque beside the front door with poppies, the silhouette of a soldier and "We shall remember them" written on it. What a land. -
Shotgun
I wonder what percentage of lest we forgetters are in support of the Israeli government's ongoing war crimes.

Crawford Bridge
Oaft. A Hallowe'en/poppy crossover is arguably the most tragic thing I've ever seen. This country is absolutely rammed with sad sacks with no life.

I don't think it's any coincidence that St Patrick's Day has got bigger and bigger in the US since the Catholic Dioceses started dishing out special dispensations, meaning you could basically have a day off from your Lenten resolutions. And the Lord said, "Go forth and get pished".

Probably around the same time as being member of armed forces was ratcheted up as heros as Iraq propaganda.
