mojito
Andy Murray scooping 361,446 votes compared to Fury's 72,330. Murray absolutely scooshed it.
peasy23
Murray got 35% of the vote, Sinfield 28% and Ennis Hill was a distant third with 8%.
dogmc
It really annoys me when people call him boring as well - it's always from people who don't watch tennis and who are idiots. I think he has a wonderful personality. Some grim stuff from the little englanders on social media about that and he voted yes in referendum ( he should have been disqualified from spoty because of exercising his democratic right...but was ok to win the davis cup with his bro lol) how many people who survived Dunblane are happy go lucky extroverts ? How many of us coukd go through a trauma like that and not only be functional but excel in our chosen field? I cant think of an english sports person who excels at his level without being caught up in scandal who attracts as much hatred as murray....
RedRob72
Some worthy names and achievements on the shortlist last night, huge number of Tennis fans out there and well done Andy Murray. Sinfield has had an amazing year though to end a magnificent 18 year career at Leeds including 7 Super League titles and the treble this season. Had hoped that he might win it, 2nd's still pretty good though for what is essentially a regional sport.
jimmy boo
You would imagine Murray picked up most of the Scottish vote to win so convincingly.
sparky88
You would imagine Murray picked up most of the Scottish vote to win so convincingly.no more so than Ennis hill would have picked up the Yorkshire vote, or 'petrol heads' voted for Hamilton last year (though didn't seem to bother their arse this year). Murrays achievement was arguably the greatest.
John Lambies Doos
Fair play to linekar for challenging Fury. Although linekar was shaking at time... probably crapped his pants like 86....
strichener
Scott Brash should have won it.

Ro Sham Bo
Scott Brash should have won it. He should have at least been on the shortlist anyway. Edited December 23, 2015 by Martin Nelson
John Lambies Doos
If Mo Farah does not win this this yr... it will highlight a major problem within UK society

MONKMAN
Surely when Murray wins it again this year, he'll get to keep it.
