Cant match Celtic TVs quality, we had Sandaza halved in the box a couple of years ago at Celtic Park, nothing given. They show multiple different angles showing him being booted into the air - "A clear dive there, its a shame clubs stick with foreigners like that"

I did not see the bottle thing, although I guess these things are over in the blink of an eye, so it may well have happened.

I did see a middle aged Morton fan jumping up and down on 1 of the seats after the Tav OG, he pushed a steward who I guess was telling him to get down and was then swiftly removed by plod, there are arseholes in every support.

My general impression was that Morton brought a very large noisy support, which is always good.

^ Thinks jumping on a seat in celebration is as bad as throwing glass bottles at children

Did I say that? nope looks like I did not.

Raising your hand at a guy who is just trying to do his job is arsehole behavior, try to read the whole post in future.

TBH I never seen it so I doubt it happened anyway

It's the first time we've been to Ibrox, so I wasn't aware it was the norm. The Head Steward, when I reported the incident, said "They usually just throw coins and stuff....", which left me pretty stunned.

 The most steward thing that's ever been said

And why would stewards do nothing and risk their employment just because they are 'durty *** basturts'?

Maybe because a ) they're scared to do anything, and b ) they KNOW they're more likely to lose their jobs if they DO do something?

OK, so one steward did what he's meant to do. But it does kinda read as though you are equating someone jumping up and down on a seat with someone throwing a bottle which came close to badly injuring a child.

Some sense of proportion is needed here. It was only a game of football, ffs, it was nothing of any great importance. Had that bottle left a child with lasting injuries, on the other hand........

These things happen time and again at your, err, "great family club".

It has to stop.

They could make a start by having some of the stewards and police actually facing the Orc support. Last time I was there every single one of them were staring at us whilst the natives were frothing at the mouth hurling all sorts (not liquorice).

As soon as I started reading your post I knew there was going to be some good old fashioned whataboutery involved. You did not disappoint.

Where have I said what about?

Just for the hard of thinking...i said the bottle incident 'may have happened'

I then pointed out another incident that happened at the same game, would you prefer that i made another thread for this rather than point it out on the actual match thread...or would you have preferred that I just did not mention it at all?

For the hard of thinking, the act of whataboutery does not necessitate the use of the phrase "what about". Nor does it involve denying the original incident happened. It's all about deflection and highlighting some other injustice to dilute the attention from the original incident, rather than addressing the root causes of the original incident.

Read that a few times and let me know when you understand the concept.

If it wasn't for the bottle incident you'd never have mentioned someone being thrown out for an over-boisterous celebration involving jumping on seats. What you said basically equated to "aye someone may have thrown a bottle, but you have arseholes too".

So while everyone here is trying to see what can be done to stop a serious injury happening in future, you're more interested in demonstrating the fascinating fact that there's arseholes in every support - something that's blindingly obvious and we all knew anyway.

Again you are demonstrating your inability to read posts, he was not thrown out for his celebration, nor was he thrown out for jumping on seats.

Yes he was thrown out for pushing a steward after jumping on a seat during his celebration, I get that. (If we take your word for it)

The point is going sailing over your head though. Are you really so thick / stubborn you cannot see how replying with "I did not see blah, but I did see this incident instead" looks like cast iron whataboutery? Just because you don't explicitly say "I would hereby like to compare these two incidents" is no excuse.

Would you have come on this thread and mention the Morton fan being ejected if the bottle incident hadn't been mentioned?

Good to see you eventually get it, in your last post you were obviously suggesting that plod escorted the guy out for celebrating, an obvious attempt to play down the incident.

just to point out that i am in no way trying to play down the bottle incident, throwing a bottle at a child (if we take the those who claimed it happened word for it) is indeed scumbaggery.

My God I think we have agreement.
