LongTimeLurker
I'm so glad to have mortally offended... ^^^ sociopath As for the drivel about the Orange Order, I am a Richard Dawkins type atheist and have posted in that vein many times on here, but then people with clear sociopathic tendencies usually don't let the truth get in the way of a good insult, so WTM is probably well aware of that. Wasn't mortally offended by the monobrowed prole remark or angered by this later post. Find it pathetic more than anything else and too happy about Hamilton Accies avoiding relegation to be getting into an argument on a football board on this particular evening. WaffenThinMint
Full faith and credit to you: you know how to spell my name, which is progress compared to other weirdos that think it is some kind of clever and original thing to do to address people by their real names on a football forum. I did so merely being polite in a Patricia Hewitt condescending sort of way to someone that's clearly flipped his lid (btw just to remind you, you're the one that told everyone your real name when you chose to let all P&B know you were standing for a national election for whom & where, champ). We know you're upset the Decaffs (& with it whatever limited political ambitions you ever had) are fucked, but there really is no need to take it out on the rest of us. If we want to listen to drunken feigned triumphalist rantings through the tears, there's a place for that & it is called the BRALT thread. ^^^ sociopath As for the drivel about the Orange Order, I am a Richard Dawkins type atheist and have posted in that vein many times on here, but then people with clear sociopathic tendencies usually don't let the truth get in the way of a good insult, so WTM is probably well aware of that. Find it pathetic more than anything else and too happy about Hamilton Accies avoiding relegation to be getting into an argument on a football board on this particular evening. Nice try. You turn up in almost every thread dealing with "loyalism", "Orangism" & the rest of the ragbag for Rangers loving bigots (closet or otherwise) with monotonous regularity. But you're really not that bothered... not bothered at all that you made your ad hominem post in the thread in the first place without adding anything else to the topic. So we'll take it in much the same way you really weren't that bothered about what people said about the Orange Order in a certain thread you kept posting in. Lest we forget your ludicrous tinhat claims about residents objecting to Orange marches that it was all down to:- "People get bused in from elsewhere to be "offended" in these situations and if they get their way on the Crumlin Road they'll shift their focus somewhere else and create a new cause celebre to moan to the international media about. It's all about slowly expanding their turf." http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/203580-orange-walk-scottish-cricket-thread/page-26#entry7532478

Miguel Sanchez
Graham's going to get dug shite through his letterbox at this rate It was kind of brutal to see her on TV. She was pretty much past the point of still trying to maintain she had even the slightest chance of winning her seat, and pretty much admitted live on TV that she was done for. Pleasing. Scary Bear
Willie and Alex absolutely cunted you in the only worthwhile part of Edinburgh and the only educated part of Fife. GET IT ROUND YOU #GlenGrant #GlenMoray #GlenFucket A wee bit alcohol and the inner Tory boy rises to the surface.
WaffenThinMint
Christ, at least when I was a seething mess I'd tanked half a bottle of Glen Grant first. If you change that from the past tense to the present tense, you'd be more accurate. Anyone attempting to excuse their online breakdowns by claiming at the time to be imbibing at the time clearly didn't need the alcohol to begin with. Hedgecutter
I understand the massive swings in Orkney and in Shetland because 2 independent candidates who stood last time weren't there and their vote went back to the Lib. Edinburgh West was a direct result of the scandal involving the independent MP Michelle Thomson, but the North East Fife result seems bizarre. "Ooh, I don't know who the SNP candidate is, but Willie Rennie's that Fifer party leader off the TV, so he's bound to a better choice as my MSP". Granny Danger
"Ooh, I don't know who the SNP candidate is, but Willie Rennie's that Fifer party leader off the TV, so he's bound to a better choice as my MSP". Yeah I think that's a big part of it. Also a big part of why there was a fair bit of Tory tactical voting in that constituency. Tactical voting as a rule will fail but there will be exceptions where there is a high profile anti-SNP candidate.
LongTimeLurker
Anywhere that the SNP is significantly under 40% like NE Fife and Edinburgh Western moving into this election is highly vulnerable to pro-Union tactical voting.
HaikuHibee
Anywhere that the SNP is significantly under 40% like NE Fife and Edinburgh Western moving into this election is highly vulnerable to pro-Union tactical voting. That suits the SNP. A couple years ago they had 5 MPs, now Labour and Lib Dems are openly talking about colluding with Tories to limiting them getting 30-40 MPs. That's remarkable. Ruth Davidson did not win the Tories second place. Unionism did that. They need the referendum issue more than the SNP. You'll begin to see that when we discuss any policy issue that is not the referendum. Lib Dems are celebrating finishing fifth behind the Greens. The Greens, who did better, have been ignored. The Lib Dems could only rely on a Better Together tactical vote. All their Yes voting voters have left for good, they ain't coming back. Their MSPs - to a man - are roasters, who will now vote with Tories so they are not labelled weak on the Union. Nicol Stephen actually called for an electoral pact with the Tories. That's how Tory they are now. It is surely a matter of how long the UK Labour Party tolerates a Scottish branch that is splitting the centre-left, anti-Tory vote over a Unionist position that isn't important to their rank and file in England and Wales. Erm, England and Wales? One would respectfully suggest that the constitutional question is of some slight import in one of those two places. Oaksoft and the Tories? Sounds fair. He'll be happy to see money draining upwards from the middle-classes, considering how excited he is by the prospect of it happening to those who are worse off. Mr Bairn
Just watching the BBC coverage now since I was asleep on the night. For a "cafe" there seemed to be relatively no food getting munched or teas and coffees handed about. Also poor wee Ross Greer was just sitting texting on his phone instead of getting fired into Cat Boyd.
