Neil86
Is Kian Spiers injured btw, he's not really featured in any match day squads since making his debut, certainly not for a while anyway.

Aye. Carroll 100% has the look of a FM regen. Looking at that squad photo and mindful of the fact that PCA szn is soon to be upon us here's our contracts situation: 2023: Connelly, O'Donnell, Carroll, McGinn, Johnston, Devine, Cornelius, Goss, Efford, Speirs 2024: Kelly, Oxborough, Lamie, Mugabi, Johansen, McGinley, Maguire, Spittal, Slattery, Van Veen, Morris, Shields 2025: Tierney, Miller Loan expires at parent clubs: 2023: Penney (Ipswich), McKinstry (Leeds), Moult (Burton Albion)

ropy
New pitch paying dividends with a Scotland U21 match scheduled for this month. The old trick of getting a home player in the squad in full force too. Edited November 4, 2022 by ropy

rowsdower
There's only like 5 games till Christmas, I'll take 10 goals.

ropy
It sounds like McKinstry’s time at Leeds is up. I hope he pushes on and gets offered a contract. If he breaks through we could get a second fee for him.

If he's to be the next player to experience a 'Fir Park Redemption Arc' then roofing a worldy at Tynecastle tomorrow à la Sherwin would be a fucking great time to start it. Of course, he'd then have to go on and prove to actually be a bit of a baller, unlike the bold Seedorf who doesn't appear to have kicked one since we showed him the door. I'm not getting my hopes up.

Wonder if it’s purely a footballing decision or if he wants to get back closer to home? He was on the bench a good few times for the Leeds first team last season at only 19, but if I remember right there was some chat he’d had a bit of a tough time personally down there? Would love it if he became a big player for us over the course of the season and signs back permanently. Canny mind where I read or was told this, and I might be talking shite but I’m sure the distance from family was an issue for him even before making the move. I think his dad might have moved down with him for a wee while.
