Incidentally I'm getting right fed-up with shooting towards the Cooper in the first half. That's about 3 times this season and it's really messing with my chi. Have you looked at the scores in those games?

Scotland numbered the team (except for goalies, thankfully) in descending order of caps for Euro 92. I don't think we deserve major tournaments based on that.
Pettigrew
Can i just add that Turnbull even got booked brilliantly on Saturday. Verbals with the full back after the penalty, then properly walloping him first chance he got. Lovely.

MJC
According to Wikipedia, he had a loan spell at Partick Thistle in 2014/15, so has some experience of Scottish Football. I don't remember him though. Good to see us getting our summer transfer business done early doors.

DosserDel
Hopefully he can be the answer to our long-standing left back problem and will back him fully, like everyone else who comes to the club. A few Cambridge fans on the social media's seeming less than devastated to see him leave though , although he's played 90+ games for them in 2 years ( not sure how many starts v sub appearances right enough ). 70 odd games alongside Carson at Hartlepool too, surely he would have advised Robinson to steer clear if he was a total huddy.??!! Anyway, welcome Jake. Please don't be shite. Thank you.

I'm the same, with the exception of Stevie Hammell who was our left back for the best part of seventeen years, only Jim Paterson has come close to filling that void. When you think of some of the dross we have signed in that time it's enough to make you shudder. Danny Murphy, one of the Malpas Irish trio that was utterly hopeless, Joe Chalmers, ATS, Straker even. We've not been blessed with good left backs or left sided defenders over the years.

I wouldnt read too much into fans opinions. Scott Tanser is apparently the worst left back in Port Vales history, yet has improved with us to the point Brian Easton could be punted as he cant get his place back. Full backs from England generally turn up weak, and out of position, but settle in quick. Think Ralph at Dundee was similar.
Busta Nut
Defo won't get my hopes up and I think Tait will end up at LB next year too.
dezz
Not going to get my hopes up due to our well document left back curse but on paper it seems like exactly our type of signing. With Tait, Grimshaw and Carroll signed up for the full back positions next year, does it look like Livingstone will be heading out on a 6 month loan with the intention to re-call in Jan is he impresses? Can’t see him getting much game time over a more experienced new signing and the current captain.
AndyRoss
Eight yellows and two reds this season so far. Not really much to add though, I share the fear - ATS' enthusiasm on arrival was a preview of what was to come.
