J_Stewart
Alvarez destroys Kovalev with a 7th round TKO, Kovalev was down 3 times in the round before the ref stopped it.Bivol beat Chilemba in a really wide UD as well. Think Big Kov might be finished at the top level sadly. Hasn’t really looked the same fighter since the second Ward loss, which is a huge shame if it is the case as he’s been one of my favourite fighters and few things would have given me more pleasure than a prime Kov knocking seven shades of shit out of Adonis Stevenson. Don’t think we’ll ever see that fight now. Imagine Beterbiev and Bivol will clear out the division and hopefully then have a unification fight, would be amazing.Absolutely mental that a card that good wasn’t shown on UK TV. Same with the Mikey Garcia v Robert Easter jnr fight last weekend. Add in the amount of football both have lost, and seriously considering binning my sky and bt sports packages, tbh.
kiddy
Alvarez out Kovalev'd Kovalev. That first defeat, when he had Ward down & couldn't stop him, really messed with his head.

You won't though. Your obsession with the Gypsy King has been noted.
JMDP
The seethe that big Tyson causes from the matchroom fanboys is amazing. Every single post is followed by frothing rage - the comments on the picture of him in his shorts today are incredible reading, imagine getting that worked up. Frampton should deal with Jackson in a fairly straightforward way, no idea about the Barnes fight and would like to see Fury take this incredibly seriously and do a job on Pianeta, followed by bodyslamming wilder in the ring, singing and causing kiddy to go into meltdown. -

J_Stewart
Wilder chased Billy Jo Saunders out of a Nando’s in Belfast last night after BJS threw half a chicken at him when they were eating at the same time [emoji23] Even if it’s a set-up, What a world.

It’s not Wilder but one of his entourage, although the guy legging it out is definitely Saunders. It appears he did launch a chicken at Wilder and his mate gave chase. Either way, it’s outstanding.

kiddy
He’s a journeyman, one of the most important parts of boxing. He fights almost every week so likely does it for some extra money along with his normal job. Absolutely no shame in that.He was a credit to those guys who get zero recognition, in the records of those who go on to fame & fortune.

buddies1877
I’m shocked that wilder is allowed ringside after the 2 recent bust ups [emoji23] Wonder what they have planned after Tyson wins tonight.Hopefully the acting is a bit better than previous 2 scenes

pittsburgh phil
Billy Joe Saunders must be one of the least dynamic champions in recent memory, though he deserves props for fighting in that swimming baths in Paisley.
