Apparently, in an attempt to toughen up the rangers midfield Pedro is looking to sign up hard tackling Portuguese midfielder Corrida de Toros.
He's worked with him before and feels he has what it takes to overpower Scott Brown and adapt to a physical Scottish game.

I see that Avril's actively pimping Jamie Walker: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40094773

Hearts attacking midfielder Jamie Walker wants to leave the club, says director of football Craig Levein.

Walker, 23, came through Hearts' development system, has been a first-team regular at Tynecastle since 2012 and is under contract until 2018.

"[Head coach] Ian [Cathro] has been through quite an extensive discussion with Jamie to try to get him to stay," said Levein.

"Jamie said he has been here a long time and feels it is time to move on."

Walker has been linked with Scottish Premiership rivals Rangers.

"There comes a point with every player if we get an offer that's deemed to be acceptable then we'll look at that," added Levein.

"These are circumstances that happen."

Bruno Alves currently in Glasgow finalising a move to Rangers, according to Sky Sports.

If Rangers can sign Dorrans as well that would be two fairly significant signings.

Happy with Alves - he'll put a bit of stick about.

Not convinced by Dorrans.

Is the Alves story true ?

If it is he's a decent calibre of player to come to Scotland albeit at the end of his career.

Yeah, he only needs to pass a medical, which shouldn't be too much of a problem as he's played 41 games this season. Apparently the fee is £500k.

Other signings reported to be completed this week are Ryan Jack, Carlos Pena if he's granted a work permit and Dalcio on loan from Benfica.

Some are saying on Twitter (so it's probably nonsense) that the fee for Carlos Pena is £3m. That seems quite steep but his club did sign him for US$8m in December of 2015.

Seemingly true and yes a worry.  We've had hunners of at the end of his career nomarks.  Barton...before anyone else gets it in.

Not convinced this is a forward step by Rangers. £500k on a defender turning 36, who was a pivotal part of a side who shipped 76 goals in the league last season. Not sure theres much logic in releasing Hill then splashing a fee, and a higher wage, on someone who's fairly similar.
