Inflation, to the extent it devalues currency, fascinates me.

I wouldn't pick up a 2p coin if I saw one lying around as they are pretty much worthless. Yet i've seen pictures of Mars Bars with 4p RRP on them. I do find it slightly hard to grasp that something so worthless now, used to hold real, practical value.

On a larger scale, house prices usually increase at or just more than the rate of inflation. 

So the oldies look like clever clogs when in fact its just been compound inflation not clever decisions.   

The good news news is the oldies cant take their wealth with them when they pop off.
