Brilliant. I feel we are spoilt nowadays with all the different football from all over the world we can easily watch now.

But as a nine year old in 1994 it was a genuine thrill to get some more football on tv never mind that it was foreign football.

Ronaldo, Weah, Maldini, Del Piero, Vieri, Baggio, Lee Sharpe - it was a genuine thrill to watch the players play.

Yep, the Milan team was one of the best of all time.

The entire program was class. The suave presenter and the commentary from Peter Brackley with decent backup from Wilkins and co.

always thought it was goooool laziiooo though which made no sense really

big tomato, and potato gooooool lazzziiooo

Sniffing glue. It was all the rage back in the 70s and 80s but has now fallen out of favour. Some local shops even sold glue sniffing kits.

It is definate jakeball behaviour.

ETA - here's the urban dictionary definition.

I preferred that suede shoe protector spray.

Are you posting from inside Kool Keith's wardrobe?

No just reminiscing being one of the lucky kids whose parents were foolish enough to buy me some of those Troop monstrosities cos they were cool in 1990. They looked the fucking business with my Scotland shellsuit tbf...
