Genuinely don't get this..we planned for a £450000 loss every year we were in league 1 as it's impossible for a full time club not to but that was preagreed to be covered by directors loans...in the championship before that we were doing fine & had over 1 million in the bank at one stage which was frittered away in paying off duds over 2/3 years. Had we stayed down last year we would have had to go part-time as no directors prepared to pony up anymore.....there is no comparison to be made

Well there is plenty of comparison to be made with that. We have had our losses covered by directors loans ever since we were relegated from the Premiership. Now we don’t have anybody willing to do that.

Now I don’t have any issue with the way Falkirk have been run. As long there is someone willing to cover the losses then fair enough. It’s risky, obviously, as it could end up like our situation but to have a Falkirk fan come in here acting all high and mighty saying they were cheated out of a Scottish Cup final while they were doing exactly the same thing is absolutely ridiculous.

What was I “found out” over? Caley being financial cheats, admitting that Ferguson on the football side was really bad at his job or saying that he deserved some respect for not taking his wages?

You tried to lecture The Caley fanbase on having “respect” for a guy who has repeatedly shown no respect for us or the club. It became evident you didn’t know what you were talking about so you started to backtrack and deflect. Thanks for playing.

Its not so much the financial situation, but the fact that your club was an utter shambles in almost every single area.

Nope...a loss that was budgeted for & being covered by a directors loan up to a preagreed amount bears no comparison to uncontained losses which would "hopefully" be covered by hopeful projects like BESS farms

We, aren't doing exactly the same thing that's quite clear as you are going bust and we'll more than likely post a small profit this season. We don't owe any money to directors unlike yourselves who seem to owe millions.  The two situations couldnt be more different so we have every right to feel cheated

The loans were never taken up.

ICT are just one of those nothing clubs like Gretna, Kelty, Spartans and Cove. No history, fans or solid roots in the community. When they hit financial problems, no one is going to dig them out like fans did at Dundee and Dunfermline. They'll disappear and nobody will notice, just an obscure pub quiz question in years to come.

ICT will be famous only for a newspaper headline.

Coincidentally, a question in today's Guardian quiz.

A defiant win for The Caley today against all odds and humiliating defeats for Arbroath, Queen of the South, Ross County and probably the other no-marks posting in this thread which I shan't be bothering to check. It says it all.

The strips, the recently departed senior executive, the manager, the fans arrogance and of course the financial doping.

They really are the Rangers of the north aren’t they?

Your only song is a Rangers song.

You missed Dunfermline and Morton drawing a blank in the financial administrator derby

You guys know how to win friends. Has a bin near you had its fire extinguished?

Hardly consider a 2-0 league defeat humiliating.

Not like 2 weeks ago (ahem)
