Elixir
He sounds like an utter diddy of Calderwood/Fenlon/Butcher proportions.

Dat name Agreed. Horrific but his cv looks decent enough. 2 hours ago, MixuFixit said: Magnificent Names thread for this pish Disagree, his surname sounds like a flat english ale at room temeprature.

Hendo
4 hours ago, The Grass Is Greener. said: From what I have read he seems to sound the part. Done well at Barnsley, got them promoted when he took over in the relegation zone and won the EFL cup. Kept them in the championship and took the Leeds job. Leeds are an absolute basket case so I’m not gonna bash him too much for that, although he was very poor there from what I have read. Got a reputation for playing and developing young players. Ticks a lot of boxes that Hibs will be look for in a manager. Barnsley were in the relegation zone when he left in February, and they ultimately did get relegated.

Lofarl
What we need is a manager that will come in through the door. Tell the squad they are all shite and they won’t be here next season. That’ll motivate the lads.

Did well at Birmingham with no/little money to spend on the squad. It's a pity we can't have SAF cloned and have them appointed at 10 of the Premiership Clubs!

He's done pretty well down in the English Championship apart from the Stoke gig although their squad is a complete clusterfuck this season. He might be keen to give it a bash with Hibs and try and get off the Championship merry-go-round.

At least he knew the league and Aberdeen and had done well at St Johnstone. Was never a high risk appointment like the fuds on that list are. We are going to finish bottom six which is a travesty I blame Dempster and Petrie for.
