If you are from Glasgow there is no Makro anymore, we closed it down & moved everyone to Paisley & Shawfield. If you want to stock up yes, I would imagine that us, United & Filshill will get the majority of stock for the Independent market. I can't really stomach any of the real sugar soft drinks now - don't like the taste, and the consistency is even worse. They feel like drinking treacle. I forgot which country I was in for a minute - in the US, most of the fizzy drinks have switched to corn syrup instead of cane sugar over the years (because it's cheaper), and quite a few folk complain about being able to taste the difference. It’s the true boycotters that that took one sip of the rancid new recipe and vowed never to drink it again, forcing the share price tumbling, that deserve the praise and well wishes.
