I thought he was from Bishopbriggs.

“He grew up in the Hardgate area of Clydebank and attended St Mary's Primary and St Columba's High”.

Celtic supporter unfortunately rather than a Bankie!

I miss the games at Kilbowie. Especially from the Fergie era.

I am not a massive fan of Bridges, his speech pattern when delivering jokes is annoying.

It's got worse. Looking at his older stuff he did it but the last show of his I watched he did it far more often and louder. I don't think I could sit through a full show now. His content is still great though.

Given his age, if he still supported his hometown team, he would support Airdrie...

James Acaster at the Edinburgh Playhouse tonight. The wife got these tickets as a Christmas present and I wasn't sure what to expect given I know he's not everyone's cup of tea.

He was excellent. On stage for over two hours and consistently funny. Really won me over.

The wife bought tickets for Michael mcintyre in newcastle next Saturday. She likes him, but me, not so much. I might give it ten minutes and f**k off to the pub...

Got Johnathan pie tomorrow

He is fantastic, hope you enjoyed it.

Wife and I both like Sam Campbell (young aussie comedian) so on Friday night I checked his gig schedule..................only to find he had played the Monkey Barrel - about half a mile from my hoose - at 8pm that night while we were in the pub.

RHLSTP at Oran Mor for me tonight. Guests are Suzie McCabe  and Fred MacAuley.

Sounds a bit meh but Herring is normally excellent at dragging something funny out of even the shitest comedian

Herring will be good, sounds like he's been sold a pup on the guests tho...........

Without being unkind, I kinda think Suzi M is kicking the erse out of everything just now (tv, podcasts etc ) as her "sheen" will soon rub off.

Hope you have a good one tho !
