diegomarahenry
The money Kilmarnock invested during the window looks well spent, every one of them to a man looks capable of a top 6 finish. Something they have coveted for the last 20 years. Bringing in McInnes and his team at top dollar to make sure they are slightly above average is a master stroke .

Arbroath train twice maybe three nights a week. The rest have got as long as they want. For Arbroath to be 4 points clear at the top is to be totally applauded but equally raises question marks as to the standard of players and coaching at the rest. eez-eh
Getting serious envy of Abroath’s title challenge already having eclipsed ours from a few seasons ago.

Frosty
Bully should sit the whole Ayr squad down tomorrow morning and make them watch that game through from start to finish so they can see what is possible when a team put in a full shift from the first whistle to the last. People go on about Muirhead’s commitment but I’d swap his brainless red cards for all the Arbroath players effort every day of the week.Hamilton was brilliant - we’d be even deeper in the shit without Tomi’s goals but if he could add the effort Hamilton put in tonight we’d have clubs banging on our door for him.It would be brilliant if Arbroath could win the League over a Killie team who must be spending twice what any other team in the league is - any right thinking football fan should be willing them on. With the squad Killie have I’d be surprised if they don’t prevail but even the Killie fans have to acknowledge this is probably the most blatant example of a team trying to buy the League.

Having a manager that can build a squad on personality and desire to win, it’s like moneyball, looking at stats and GPS data, he looks at compatibility with the rest of his team and what type of player they are. They seem to play as a unit and fight for each other. It comes down to man management and personalities. McCall does it well, McGlynn as well.

I agree, seeing Dick Campbell on the pitch at the end of the game applauding the crowd made me think back to the days when Ally McLeod would have us all truly believing and players who'd run through a brick wall for him. Huge credit to them. Edited February 4, 2022 by BukyOHare
