ayrunitedfw
It’s a real shame this drama seems to have overshadowed what has been a really positive start to the transfer window.
Richey Edwards
Is the SLO a voluntary position or do you get some kind of payment/incentive for it?

Aye was just thinking that. Been really delighted with the recent business and has given me a lot of optimism for the season ahead, but nah, everyone is focused on this shite. For all we know, the club are just waiting to see how to plan having home support in the SRE. Although, there's not much they can do about folk just buying them.

Richey Edwards
This has been the most pleasing transfer window in years so far. Looking forward to more additions in the near future.

If the last SLO is anything to go by you probably get a yearly subscription to PornHub.

Had this friendly been arranged at Christmas nobody would have been bothered with the effort of finding a ladder. So long as it sells out it will be quickly forgotten, as with giving the UVF three quarters of the ground in most of the last two decades' encounters with them. It's unlikely that a bedsheet over the boundary fence is going to significantly influence that. That said, maybe it highlights the ineffectiveness of the Checkpoint Charlie razor wire strung around the ground, which obviously does little except bleed iron oxide all over the concrete. 2 hours ago, Richey Edwards said: This has been the most pleasing transfer window in years so far. Looking forward to more additions in the near future. It's certainly interesting after the clear decision post-regime-change to lock people up on longer contracts. Brown would clearly rather have the best first team he can get. Ayr's loanees have been pretty decent on average for the last few years (the odd horror show aside) but obviously there have repeatedly been problems when it comes to recalls / extensions / signings after parent club releases. Out of interest, does anyone have the figures on who had been signed by this point last summer? Edited June 3 by Thumper
JOMT
Good on whoever put that banner up. Nice to have fans who actually care about something other than money. Rare indeed, these days.
F.T.O.F.1910
Has it been confirmed that it was AUFC 'Youth' that put that banner up? I would not put it past the blue arse cheek to hang that, knowing it'll cause a stir... You only have to look at what was said on Social Media posts about broony by them to come to this conclusion! Horrible b*****ds and Scotlands shame, the lot of them. -

Probably there on a freebie
UpInTheAyr
Not an Elf bar in sight nor a spelling mistake. That's the only thing I'll give them credit for.

Is the person in the middle crouching down or really short? or is he doing that thing where you kneel down with your knees in a pair of shoes to make you look small?

Iain
Just now, ryanayr1987 said: So it looks like Ayr fans have forced the club to allocate the SRE to Celtic by not buying enough tickets. Seems fair to me. I'm sure everyone at the club would have been delighted to have the North Stand, Main Stand and SRE full of Ayr fans given the choice, but when it's clear that won't happen they needed to make a smart business decision.
