We may be utterly horrendous and completely unwatchable at times with a squad which is, on the whole, not fit for purpose, but there is always one or two teams pisher than us somehow and it’s the same again. We were organised, kept the ball well at times with some nice moves and barely gave up a chance. Mcallister pissed me off today, he was a red card waiting to happen and was flying into tackles left right and centre. midfield felt a bit lightweight today but don’t think sylla would have made any difference to that. We looked blunt up front and wouldn’t have known Dowds was on the pitch after the red card. We didn't create too many clear cut chances but had plenty of the ball and got into some nice areas, in what is the most difficult fixture in the league. I agree that we didn't trouble their keeper much but I actually thought we did very well when we had 11 players on the park. Up until the sending off, the BBC stats showed that Dundee Utd had only had a single shot on target. For me, today showed the difference that Brown has made in terms of the team shape and tactics. Under Bullen we had massive space in our midfield that Dundee Utd would have exploited ruthlessly but today they really struggled to break us down. I would have to see the red card incident again to be sure but at the time I could see why the referee sent him off.
