Have you tried having your windows open at night ,find it helps me

See I agree that fresh air is a god-send when you have a cold or something similar.

Sadly I am blessed with a partner who is definately part reptile and can't cope with fresh/cold air.

I'm also down with the lurgy. Mrs Mathematics has decamped to the spare room as she can't handle my blocked nose-induced snoring. She's also ill. As is the child, but he's getting the blame for bring it home from the nursery.

I have been blaming both kids, they deny everything.

I was going to say "you work at a uni, its your fault", but I get the impression your teaching contact hours are minimal.

I am on "Spring Break" next week (and before you accuse me of going all 'murcan, I am in 'murca so that's what it's called) and on Wednesday I have to go get an endoscopy/colonoscopy. Had this before, but pray for RN.

Clenpiq if you can get it. Had to do scopes every two years, due to family history and polyps, for a good while, and Clenpiq was the first prep I used where my bung hole wasn’t raw like hamburger after it kicked in.

I've just spent three weeks with some infection, most of the last two weeks spent in bed and not in fun way. And on stat sick pay.

All this cold chat has reminded me of a business arsehole I saw on the train earlier this week who was sitting next to (presumably) her young assistant on their way to work, loudly lecturing him on all the vitally-important stuff she needed to do that week (none of which sounded urgent or important). She was absolutely choked full of the cold and had a barking cough, which she repeatedly expectorated directly into his face from inches away without even attempting to cover her mouth. He looked like he wanted to crawl out of his skin.

In the interests of public health, I don't understand how it isn't legal to set fire to people like this. Alright, maybe not on the train, but in the car park outside whatever depressing business centre they were headed to?

I am currently experiencing Vertigo. Which keeps putting this song into my head.

Christ that’s horrendous m8. Wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.

And I hope the vertigo clears up soon as well.

My coldy thing has progressed to a sinus infection if the pus oozing from the corners of my eyes is anything to go by.

Can 100% see this scene from Red Dwarf being re-created in my household pretty soon.

My wife's chronic sinusitis is now possibly chronic facial pain syndrome according to a retired ENT specialist.

Basically no cure, no proper pain relief and she'll just have to live with it.

I am a lot better, but have passed it to the wife. I am down to body temperature fluctuating between shivers and sweats.

When I had it on my own, it was a cold. Now, she has decided that it us either the flu or covid.

Going to phone the Doctors tomorrow about this. This is fucking hellish.

“Your call is important to us. You are currently number 15 in the queue”

“HEELO HELLO, IM AT A PLACE CALLED VERTIGO”
