Well, that ref made a mistake too. But that’s my point- refs have got a lot to keep an eye on and will make mistakes in the frantic speed and atmosphere of a game. Loonytoons Posted August 9, 2018 Share Posted August 9, 2018 Correct decision to rescind the red card imo. From what I have seen of it, it was worthy of a yellow at worst. How many times is that in the last year that Rangers have had to get a red card decision overturned when it's proved to have been a wrong decision? I'm never one for buying into conspiracies based on the grounds of poor refereeing decisions but i think Rangers have a case for claiming that they are being refereeed to a different standard to everyone else.Both incarnations have always been refereed to a different standard to everyone else, that's a certainty . I was simply replying to someone who said that the player shouldn't have been sent off because even if it was DOGSO the foul wasn't a worthy of a red card... If the ref thought it was DOGSO, it should have been a RC. Since there was no red, he must not have thought it was DOGSO.
