peasy23
If Vettel is found to be at fault for taking both Ferraris out and gets 3 penalty points, he'll miss the last race as he is currently on 9.

Not saying you're wrong btw, BBC as saying those points still count.

Not sure what’s funny about it as everyone, including Hamilton himself, knew he was in the wrong and was expecting the penalty. The only frustration is that they took so long to decide the outcome and should have had Carlos on the podium. Not like it’s going to affect the outcome of the championship or anything... Confirmed in third. As iain said, no reason they couldn't have confirmed that in time for Sainz to make the podium - Hamilton even took full responsibility in his interview! They've handed Verstappen penalties in enough time to change the podium in the past, could easily have done that today. Oh, and it looked like Vettel's fault for the accident. Leclerc didn't change his line, Vettel inched over towards him. Edited November 17, 2019 by Stu

Not like it’s going to affect the outcome of the championship or anything...It was McLaren's 1st podium 118 races or 2072 days and they were not able to celebrate it at the time.
