drs
Norris is getting out of that car and the first thing he's doing is emailing Ferrari/Red Bull/AM/Mercedes to see if there is a seat available next year.

GiGi
McLaren, ooft. At least at the end of the race they got some good air time.for their sponsors from the back. Red Bull scary good this year and Alonso with a decent car already best of the rest.
Todd_is_God
Regardless of the outcome of this AM review, it's absolutely ridiculous that an investigation of a pit stop which took place on lap 19 of 50 does not take place until after the end of the race.
V.Aye.R
Very enjoyable moments in an otherwise uneventful race. Norris struggling vs Piastri and general McLaren Shiteness Williams principle saying Sargent was on for a top 10 potentially and being absolutely lightyears away. Russell comfortably holding back the GOAT Alonso pressing his accelerator slightly harder with 2 laps to go to finish +5sec on Russell.

GiGi
The most absurd thing about leaving that review so late, is that Alonso would probably have done what was needed to get 10 seconds clear if he had to. Load of shite.

The wounds were self inflicted

Leicesterlichtie
Ridiculous how it took until after the race for Alonso to be given the penalty compared to the Bahrain Grand Prix, when it seemed all Ocon penalties were almost instantly decided.

This is a motorsport with a three stage quali system that drivers routinely go into knowing they are facing a grid demotion, yet they are allowed to participate in the latter stages at the expense of other drivers that will still start ahead of them. Nothing about F1 makes sense, and they evidently don't give a flying f**k about the fact that their idiotic stewarding and penalty procedures invariably devalue the main attraction itself.

Rhys McCabe Hype Train
The F2 races I’ve watched this year have been infinitely better than the F1 snooze off. Was hoping Nando would keep things interesting and was buzzing when he got ahead into turn one but Red Bull have a rocket ship that’s going to be impossible to beat this year without crashes or unreliability. Highlight of the race for me was David “Crofty” Croft wondering why the RB’s DRS is so powerful, almost implying it’s illegal, and then choking for Alonso to get a further penalty for the home boi Russell to get on the rostrum. Sky’s commentary really is tedious.

A suspicious person would say that the technical breach was held by a team in competition with Alonso and used at the point where they could get maximum value. It says Race Control told the Stewards they did not think the penalty was served correctly on the final lap. The penalty is overturned and I am sure Toto Wolff is fuming.
