In fairness , most old firm managers are sacked or jump before they are pushed. jamamafegan
I’m surprised Rodgers didn’t stay for 10 in a row but there you go. Sadly I think this will pave the way for Rangers to win the league. Can’t see Aberdeen or Killie clawing the points back. On a better note, maybe this turmoil will see Celtic knocked out the cup to Hibs. What a dramatic return that’s going to be for Lemon so soon after leaving Hibs.

We're all diddies to someone and Leicester are obviously a bigger pull than you lot. Just have to accept your place in the natural order. Thoroughly tickled by the outrage from supporters on this. Who are these clowns that hang around a football stadium when normal people are at work?

Dons_1988
We maybe don't realise the stress that must be involved with this position in the goldfish bowl that is Old Firm football hence every manager who has managed Celtic this century has had to take 'a break away from football'. O'Neill for more personal reasons. However both Martin O'Neill and Brendan Rodgers were well known and highly rated in England and I do remember Leeds being knocked back by Celtic when they wanted to approach Martin O'Neill over the manager's job. I remember O'Neill wasn't best pleased. These were two who were a cut above the others who managed Celtic in recent times and would have been looking at managing Celtic as a stepping stone to obtain a top job among the English football elite. Football managers are just as ambitious as players. I think its incredibly naive to believe football managers and also players have the same level of loyalty as the supporters Football fans have just as little loyalty when results go badly. Any sensible manager puts himself first.

RandomGuy.
Lennon confirmed until the Summer, probably the best they could manage at this time of the season tbf, but youd think they'll try and get someone better by then.

Sometimes you are just forced into hiring someone accused of threatening a woman with a knife and being kicked out of his last job for homophobia. Definitely promoting the values of Celtic.
