Ita typical you'd only look at his time on the ball, which constitutes less than 5% of a player's time on the park, have a look at him off the ball, particularly when his team loses the ball and he has to track back. He is lazy. Is Jordan Henderson lazy then? That's from last season. Pogba isnt a defensive midfielder or ball winner, hes a creative attacking midfielder. How often do you see David Silva bursting a gut to track back? The only issue Pogba is had at United is a succession of managers expecting him to be something hes not.

I can't even be bothered with this pish. Pogba has played many games where he is deeper and it is his job to track back, yet he refuses to do it and drops his teammates in it regularly because of that. You don't understand what you see with your own eyes.

You don't understand what you see with your own eyes. So is Jordan Henderson lazy? Or are we just ignoring the fact Pogba covers more ground every match than him? I've already said Pogba isnt a deep midfielder, it's not his role. It's not his fault managers have misused him. If you put David Silva in as a holding midfielder would he look lazy as hes not tracking back? McTominay coming and providing a defensive base, and Fernandes coming in to actually give him an option in attack, is helping. Add in three attackers with pace and movement, and you're starting to see a side built around Pogbas strengths, so you'll see the best of him.

If he's asked to do that, its his job to do it. Its not like he doesn't know that, he just doesn't care and can't be arsed. That's lazy. Jordan Henderson's job is to occupy an area and not stray from it, he makes short sharp aggressive bursts. I completely agree he isn't a deep midfielder, but he has frequently been asked to do a job there for his team. He's a PROFESSIONAL footballer, he understands the role and requirements, is physically capable of meeting them, yet refuses to because he just can't be arsed. At the highest level of the game, on about 300 grand a week, dropping his teammates right in it. That's lazy. Do you think Wayne Rooney was a left midfielder? Of course not, but he did a job for his team there for fuckin YEARS because his manager asked him to, he worked his socks off and did it to the best of his ability, because that's his JOB, and he has a responsibility to his teammates. Do you think he enjoyed tracking a RB into his own box? No, but he did it with gusto as that's what he's paid to do.
Ro Sham Bo
I've seen some things I never thought I'd see in recent months but McBurnie waltzing through a defence is the best yet.
Scotty Tunbridge
I get McBurnie is big guy but having him mark a dangerous centre half at a set piece is a terrible move.

Interested to hear how Liverpools midfield is meant to work when two first choice players arent expected to cover much ground...

Even less than someone who is definitely lazy.... Some more piercing analysis from Pep.

More ground from the same number of starts but considerably more minutes. Based on their actual time on the pitch, Wijnaldum is ahead.

If you work that out as distance per minute, rather then per game, Henderson covers approx 1.4m more every minute played than Pogba. Theroadlesstravelled
Why’s the England national team shite? They hate players like Paul Pogba but absolutely love players like Sean Longstaff.
The Naitch
That attempt to play the offside trap was comical. West Ham's lead barely lasted a minute. Decent game this.

Ro Sham Bo
West Ham clearly the better team and should have won that. Based on the last couple of games they should manage to get the points they need to stay up though.
