bridge of allan bairn Posted August 4, 2019 Share Posted August 4, 2019 just watched the "highlights" and that's 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back. barely anything worth watching at alllooked very poor from us. expected a full time side to get stronger against a part time side second half however looks like we went backwards. we need to leverage full time fitness this season and stretch teams. looked like we had no width. Seriously, full time professional "athletes" who cannot do the fundamental job required of them. I also think we're using Connor Sammon wrong. At one point yesterday he collected the ball to feet and raced away from a defender after giving him a head start - seriously quick. We were all really pleased with the quality, if not the quantity, of the players that he signed close season but his tactics are holding them back. But he’s very popular amongst a large section of our support which is great from a fan point of view.
